But this sticker sheet is basically the definition of Lawful Evil.

Quick question just so this post has an actual point, the hips on mine seem fine, but just to be sure, about how hard should they be to move?

Mine have very heavy clicks. the legs are still good, but I still worry about it. Those are some massive ratchets

Thanks. I was wondering if I was just being paranoid, but it's nice to know that if I am, at least I'm not alone.

Not sure, but I heard the hip issue was only in earlier releases. Is there a way to tell just from the box?
That's why I've raising this issue since this was first reported. Could it be that the reason for the veeeeeeeeeery low price is because they are the first releases?
Allegedly, anything with a batch code higher than a certain number will be the "fixed" version without the hip ratchet flaws. I'm not sure exactly what that magic batch number is, though, so you'll have to do a bit of sleuthing on the internet. The batch code is always engraved into (note: not printed, but etched into the carboard) the box somewhere, usually around where you find a lot of the "legalease" printed.

And as a bonus, he's coincidentally just the right height to be a match for a certain other villainous mecha kaiju (Disclaimer's note: Not my pic):
And this is apropos of what? That doesn't follow anything on this page. Were you even posting in the right thread?optimusprimerotfroc wrote:A #1 Philips has a sharper point on the tip than a #2
I've found as a screwhead gets stripped the head goes from a 1 to a 2
