I also hope so, but I'm jaded and cynical. I don't trust anyone, and I don't expect anyone to trust me.. Trust is something you earn. I'd like to trust people, but I don't. I trust my Mom, my sisters, and my soon-to-be wife.. that's it.

Wow... you don't even know me and you make fun of my hobby and insult me. Why would you think that by me collecting transformers makes me childish and unemployed?

Just so you know, I have a well over 6 figure income... and because of this, I am able to make sure my wife and my two kids are more than comfortable and do not ever have to worry about money. I can accomplish that and at the same time enjoy this hobby. Me, spending money on Transformers has no effect on my family's financial well-being. That is the difference between you and I, I am able to do that. I am also able to enjoy many other hobbies as well.

This is why if you read in the other thread about this, I was willing to give your cousin the benefit of the doubt... I was hoping he would learn more of a life lesson through this ordeal... and to be honest, I don't see how anyone could afford this hobby if they didn't have some type of above average income.

By you making those generalizations shows me that you are not just childish but ignorant as well. You think you are better than me just because I picked up a hobby that happens to be a toy. Everyone has a right to have their oppinion but it does not give you the right to belittle people. Those types of people should not be tolerated and that puts you in the same category as your cousin.

Yep, this is why I wouldn't trade with him, I don't send money orders to anyone just based on their "word". If he can't accept a personal check then he probably doesn't have a bank account either, not a good sign.

Just keep in mind that if you report this, the concequences are huge! The item I potentially lost with this person has more value than my previous complaint and the concequences were pretty harsh. I actually felt terrible for reporting it.

i just read a pm saying that he shipped my item yesterday but with no tracking. no tracking? here we go again. if i don't get it by friday i'm filing a complaint.

guys, i got my figure back today but as expected it was opened and all the stickers were applied so i really don't know what to do. i'm still pissed off and i was hoping to get it back in the same condition i sent it in but that didn't happen. it's pretty much useless to me now and even though this loser returned it, it feels like he just stole it from me anyway. you guys have any advice on what i should do?

It depends... what is the value?

I guess that means mine is going to be open as well... Mine is just a titanium soundwave... but it is definitely worth a lot more sealed. I might still file the complaint if it is indeed open when I receive it. That way I can see what my options are.

yeah, i honestly still want to file a complaint but i'll wait and see if you guys all get your stuff also. by the way, the figure is the tru reissue hot rod so it's kinda a rare figure and much more valuable misb. now i don't even want the thing after he opened it all up. he even creased a couple of the stickers he applied.

Guys... I just responded... I was at work so I didn't get the PMs until now.

I've also repsonded to the others that PMd me about this situation.

At this point, I am not planning on filing a complaint. The reason is simply because my life does not change whether I get my figure back or not. Like I said before, I went through this process and the circumstances are drastic considering the cause. I do not want to go through this again... even though this person may deserve it.

It is not worth ruining someone else's life for reasons that I could live with... Whether or not this person is going into the Army is debatable... but I would rather caution on the safe side and hope that he does make it... think about it guys... if he goes, he will be fighting and risking his life for you! Why take the chance and ruin this?

I do honestly think that he is trying to fix the situation... I'm a nice guy and I will give him his chance to do so.

You may agree with me or not, but think twice before you file a complaint...

thats exactly what i'm thinking but i too decided not to file a complaint. honestly, i really want to and he definately deserves to be punished but i'll just take the higher road this time.

i got my **** back, but honestly, i'd rather had him buy it from me. my classics SW was mint (note: not a scratch), the box had dents and scrapes, the stickers on sw in some places were ripped, and both the cassettes now have paint scratches on them. am i happy i got them back? not in that condition.
i basically just shipped him my **** priority (which was not reimburst ? is that how you spell it?) so he could play w/ them and return them **** up. i keep all my stuff mint. this thing is no longer of any value to me. i am pissed.

They all usually give in once they realise that they can get in some serious trouble for what they did .. You can also file mail fraud charges if you pay using a US Postal money order (postal Moneyorder is government property), i had to do that years back when i bought an item on ebay and the person took my money and didnt send my item. Once he found out that i was going to press charges and file for mail fraud he sent the item within 2 days .. I think its a $10,000 fine for mail fraud and possible jail time .. I think thats what the postmaster told me back then..
Hope you all get your stuff back.. I know what its like to be ripped off , the dick Lordstarscream88 ripped me off not long ago. I wont deal with any new guys no more , i only deal with traders that have feedback and if they give some ebay feedback , i will email them through ebay just to make sure its there account..
