Diff'rent Strokes?

New thing I decided to try out tonight: Arizona Ranch Burgers. I liked the result, though I may need a bit more of the AR next time

Standard Hamburg, some onion powder, some lemon pepper seasoning, some garlic powder, and a bunch of Quaker Steak Arizona Ranch sauce. It was pretty dang tasty, and had a nice kick to it! Just needs some adjustments so it has a smidge more flavor

I have never heard of Arizona Ranch. Is it a regional thing?

It's a sauce exclusive to Quaker Steak and Lube, an awesome place based in Pennsylvania. They have some amazing wings and some awesome wing sauces, included the Triple Atomic sauce, which is the hottest sauce allowed to be served. To order it, you need to sign a waver in case you suffer severe problems following eating it. I did it once, and while it was an experience, it is one I will never do again. I want to enjoy my wings thank you very much.

You can find the sauce at Walmarts in the area too, they sell many of their sauces locally. You can find a map of where to find the stores HERE. If any of you live anywhere near one, I recommend trying them out once.

I had gone to QSL when I lived in Ohio, but never tried the AZ Ranch. It's been 10 years, so maybe they didn't even have it? I'll be going up there for vacation next month so maybe I'll stop in and try it. Are there still Perkins restaurants in PA along I-80?

I certainly ate too much chocolate if that's what you're saying. Now I feel sick.

Worth it though, was damn good chocolate. And it was accompanied by butter waffles, coffee and The Blues Brothers.

I work in a store so I have access to it constantly. I'm waiting for the 90% off but that's still a week out.

I didn't intend to do this but I looked over and it seems that Va'al and I made Tarn complete.

So someone bought caffeine free pepsi for the house and I tried it. It tastes different, gross even. Caffeine is bitter so I wonder if in regular soda the formula is made up to overcompensate. I am guessing caffeine free has a different formula and thats why it tastes gross to me.

I had tried Coke Zero a few years ago and it was disgusting. Since then I have managed to wean myself off dark carbonated drinks, I'm down to water, tea and Sprite. I'm slowly cutting out Sprite as well, it has a hella high sugar content.

All the sodas seem to. And the Diet has aspartame which to me is an instant headache. I do drink a bit of tea.

Every now and again, i'll have a Dr. Pepper or Big Red (and i feel physically awful later but that's what i get)... as a general rule I cut soda out of the diet all together, strictly water and coffee (w/the occasional home made fruit smoothie)

That looks so tasty but he creamy tomato would give me heartburn. I guess not being able to eat certain things means I am an official adult now. T_T
