My wife drove home, I'm not moving at all for the next 3 to 4 hours.

Nope, just a Thursday (when I bought it). Our local liquor/wine/beer shop only got 6 bottles and this whisky only just became available in the states, so I jumped.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Special occasion?carytheone wrote:If you haven't noticed, I'm a lush.

If it was a special occasion I'd get a scotch of 18 years or older, like my 40th.
Oban 14 is one of the best I've had lately. I like 'em peaty AF and Laphroaig is my brand of choice. Going to the distillery in May.

The flowers made me think it might be a special occasion, but I guess they just make the whiskey look more refined.
We'll really need to get together some time Cary, I think you could expand my whiskey horizons a lot

I'm not high strung, I'll take the low budget appreciator route.
I'll have to bring that Shot Glass you sent me a few years back too

I'll allow ice or a splash of water as a matter of taste.
Ok maybe a little snobby.
It's all a matter of tastes. Can't say I'm familiar. Sounds like a bourbon to me. If you can sip it, then it's good. If you want have to shoot it to make it go away and get drunk, then it's not good.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Is Bird Dog considered good whiskey?
