I LOVE the colours but not sold on the fig overall. That gator/croc/lizard mode is disappointing .

Once FP's comes out, that will be my classics Skullcruncher and this guy will become someone else. Until then, this guy will do.

I believe that's FP's plan, though maybe not in Prime colors. That may be a repaint down the line. (I really don't have interest in Skullcruncher painted as Prime.)

You are correct, the repaint will be after the original G1 color deco is released. Like what they did with Code. I still want to see the finished product before I commit to anything with either brand, but FP's pretty good about taking these line drawings and bringing them to life in a WYSIWYG kind of style. So, chances are he's going to look just like that, while we already have a rough idea of what Toy World's will. (I'd like to see a reviewed specimen first.)

I just prefer the Toy World figure. Something about it just works for me.

if the body fits normal Headmaster heads, maybe you could get a Junkion Blacksmith Megatron headmaster and make him into the croc early Beast Wars Megatron that was meant to still be G1 Megs?

I would be down for a gator prime. But honestly I would be happier if someone did a more show accurate non transforming gator prime. Or paint the toyworld versiom in prime colors since its so oversized to begin with.

I do not remember that. I thought I knew the original cartoon pretty well. The episode is apparently "City of Steel." I'm going to go watch it right now...

That's a pretty good idea man. I'm pretty sure the TW design does make them comparable with the original headmasters. I'll have to verify that on Hardbone though.

Um....no. I never understood the repaints for what is one scene (or sometimes even a fraction of a second. Pee Magnus, anyone?) I prefer characters and good representations of those characters. Alligatorcon Prime isn't really a character for me. (At least I think that was what Spike called the thing. I was in and out of napping and ended up watching the episode semi-conscious about 6 times in 3 hours. )

You know what? I was going off of what someone said in the KFC Stacks thread (I think that was where I read it). I just looked at the YouTube clips from when Prime gave UM the matrix and when the Sweeps 'sploded UM. Neither really had that yellow glow. Even when he dies in Headmasters, nothing like that. So, I really have no idea what the translucent yellow Stacks is all about.

But, Swamper. Heck of a figure, eh? I wonder how soon he'll ship. I seem to remember Hardbone shipping pretty close to the initial reveal.

i dont have a photographic memory or anything... but that appears to be toyworlds style eh? no proto's, only revealed when products finished. so id assume its release will be soon.

Man that thing looks beautiful.
I love how clunky and G1 it is, while still giving us all the detail and articulation we expect from Transformers.

It's instantly recognizable, very accurate, yet not exactly the same. And with those colours, this kinda reminds me of the He-Man Classics by MattyCollector.
