this guy sold me on both versions. last night i bought the first orion from yahobby (last place in stock) and barring any unforeseen disgust with the mold ill be buying the black version for sure. im actually really excited

Right on man. I think you'll have a similar experience to the one I had. Counterpunch will vouch for Orion as well. I'm pumped to get the black version. I hope MakeToys Scourge set is released around the same time. I think they'd look good together.

good to hear! s'how i figure my experience will go. i found one on ebay for about $20 more, which being aftermarket is bearable.

im beginning to think that toyworld just... doesnt want me to have an orion. the seller i bought from informed me he's out of stock.

every time i lose one of these figures, i find a new one for an additional 20 bucks. first it was 120 shipped, then 140 shipped. now im sitting at a seller with 160 shipped. stock of 12 so now... i might hold off.

Man, you must have just missed the boat on these.

I got mine last week for $99 and there were quite a few available.

I would not spend crazy $$$ on one, I would bet there will be another run of the red ones.

Also, anyone have any leads on where to find the Black Transformers Go Prime (Beast Hunters voyager mold)? The cheapest I can find him is on eBay for $120, which is bit too pricey for what it is.

Animated Voyager Prime is a fantastic mold. It looks great, has a good amount of articulation and the transformation is buckets of fun. Infact most of the Animated molds are pretty awesome.
The Deluxe sized Optimus molds are also really damn cool, you should check those out as well, I believe both of those have black repaints too.

Also don't care for the Animated Styled sculpted toys.

The only Two Animated toys I own are Leader scale Megatron and Leader scale Ultra Magnus. Which I thought was the best the line had to offer.

No sorry, I thought there would be one, but I checked again, and turns out they only repainted the Voyager mold black. :/
