this is bull i hate that everybody elses stores got the memo to have the toys in stock by today!!!

I was at Target at ten and all the deluxes, and most of the voyagers and leaders had already been sold. Did manage to pick up Optimash Prime for my nephew though...

Tomorrow is my birthday. I was VERY good to myself today. The local Toys R Us has a great big display featuring Prime and Barricade. BTW, Target exclusives are out today as well. Robo Vision Prime looks pretty cool.

OH MY GOD i bought everything i think i blacked out when i went in there because all i remember is walking into toys r us and then getting into my car and finding 2 bags of toys all voyager and all deluxe stuff and leader stuff the stuff is nice i just have to find a way to brake it to my wife funny i don't remember feeling this bad when i was a kid when i would buy this stuff

I set out for my local Target store around 8:30 this morning with one purchase in mind: Deluxe class Bumblebee. 2 Targets, a Toys R Us and one Wal-Mart later, I had Bumblebee, Barricade, Keycahin Prime, Legends Ratchet (to finish out the set), Robot heroes Prime/Ravage, Spyshot 6 and Zoom Out (to round out the real gear sets) and a mind numbing desire to make yet another jaunt to the ATM which I have so far managed to keep under control. I told myself I would only spend $20 to $30 this weekend and wait until my kids were with me next weekend to go nuts. I am currently locked in my room beating my head against the wall to keep from asking my ex if I can come and get the kids early!

Along the way, I also had the pleasure of talking to a Hasbro rep (who had a TF shirt that I desperately wanted). Myself and a fan from TFans both converged on the Everett Target store at the same time and the rep was there wanting feedback from fans on the new product line, the display set-ups, all sorts of stuff. We even got our pictures taken for Hasbros site. It was very cool to find out that they do actually listen to fan suggestions a lot more than what we give them credit for. At the same time, she also indicated that even the regional reps have some trouble getting ideas pushed through up to the corporate level as well as getting some info back down from corporate, but they do what they can to try to make us fans heard.

Well, I went to Toys R Us and believe it or not, they did not have any of the deluxe vehicles in, but they had everything else. I snatched Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Blackout and Scorponok two pak and Starscream. Then I went over to Target and they had some deluxe in and they had one Bumblebee left, but I didn't pick it up because the cardboard at the top right was damaged, so I will wait out on him, but I did get Jazz and Bonecrusher. They had Wreckage and Swindle, but I wasn't interested in those at the moment. I saw a bunch of Robo Visions at mine and looked as if no one knew there was a back display of them and Voyagers, so I plan to go back there tomorrow since there is that $5 sale on him according to someone on here that mentioned that.

All in all, I didn't think I would buy a lot, but it looks like I did. I'm glad I got the Leader Classes out of the way, it's all about Ratchet and the remaining Deluxe Toys and Real Gear.

I didn't get to go to TRU for this. They didn't have Megatron.

I took my youngest son out this morning - it seemed like we were the only ones showing any interest in Transformers stuff. It may not start really selling until after the movie premieres.

Target and Walmart near work didn't have anything yesterday.

Went to another Target and TRU this morning and picked most of the missing stuff from my Thursday run: BB, SS, Ratchet, Ironhide, RV Prime, Leader Prime. First TRU was still stocking so didn't have B/S 2-pack out.

Went off to a collector's show and picked up Ravage and Rumble Alts ($40 each, never seen them at all the Walmarts) and MP5 Megatron (waited long enough for a US release). Saw Leader Megatron but will pick it up in stores when it comes out. Also saw couple of Nemesis Prime Alts but $75 each was just way too much for a repaint.

On the way back stopped by a Walmart but didn't see anything I wanted. Went to a second TRU and was able to pick up the B/S 2-pack.

So now I just have to wait for Leader Megatron, '08 BB, LongArm, MeanTime, HighScore, and maybe Ultimate Prime.

Probably gonna make a run to a different Target tomorrow and pick few up at sale price as gifts.

Well, I have Leader Class Optimus Down, I have both Protoform figures, I have Blackout and Ratchet, and 4 of the 6 Real Gears...
Come Monday when this work weekend is finished.....I may finally get my hands on Starscream.....

My TRU didnt look anything like that. It had the display but it had abut 1/4 the stock. I found Bonecrusher though. Had to go to target and buy robovision prime becasue no one had voyager prime. All i know is i spent more money than i should have.

Edit: after looking at the pics again i noticed that the TRU i went to had a diffrent display. They had Giant cutouts of Prime Barricade and Vumblebee. Its one of the coolest things ive ever seen. They had almost evrey thing. They didnt have Leader megs, voyager prime, or voyager megs. I picked up Bonecrusher, the small barricade, and Zoom out(reflector) and my friend got Blackout at TRU. We then stoped by the Target across the street and i got robovision voyager prime and the prime keychain. After i pay my car insurance im getting blackout,screamer and maybe another realgear guy. Im still waiting for Wreckage to come in the mail.

And why is Robovision voyager prime $5 more than the regular voyager prime? If its just because he has that dumb decoder than i feel i got riped.

i think megatron is going to be the hard one to get i ordered him from hasbro 2 days ago and he is on the way it is still up on hasbro website to order also

It would have been $2.97 cheaper to buy the 2-pack than the separate figures (goes to show you what kind a dork I am taking the time to figure it out like that), but I didn't see them when I was at Wal-Mart today. Just the separate figures. I'm gonna end up passing on the 2-pack now just because I bought the separate figures today.

Assuming I go with my sister to New Mexico to pick up her son from his big sister's place, this gives me an excuse to walk over to Target from the hotel. The fact that Robo-Vision Optimus Prime apparently drops before the normal Voyager version does suits me just prime (if you'll pardon the pun) because I'd rather get the Target exclusive over the normal.

Nope, not because of the decoder. Because Target jacked their prices. Leaders are now $44.99, they used to be $39.99

I also was thrown off by the math of the two pack when I saw that KB was having a buy one, get one 50% off sale, then I figured it out...even paying full price for the stuff at Wal-Mart, it was still cheaper than KB's.

Nah. He's just wave 2 is all. As we've seen with previous toylines, he'll be the shelfwarmer that'll clearance out at about $15.00-20.00 when this is all said and done. (Sad, because he looks like a fantastic figure.)

Still...even with that inevitability...I can't seem to keep from wanting him and scouring every inch of the Earth...

As I remember Wal-Mart trumps KB anyway. This is because Wal-Mart charges $9.97 each for Barricade and Bumblebee, while KB charges $12.99 for their exclusive Snow Cat repaint. Not that I care so much about paying extra for exclusives when I think they're worth buying, it's just when they want more than Hasbro SRP $9.99 for something that isn't exclusive, then I take issue. I didn't care so much when I got Classics Grimlock from K-Mart for my birthday last January because that day was literally the only time I ever saw Grimlock on shelves, but that was only a buck more for a figure that was way more uncommon than Movie Megatron should be.

I got my Voyager SS, so I am content...but STILL no Titanium G1 Ultra Magnus!

Also, there was not even ONE Leader Megatron. He eithier sold out very fast, or he likes being fashionably late.

Man, I went to the Walmart in Niles, IL and they hardly had anything. They had the big signage up but only Optimash Prime, the Optimus Prime blaster and what looked like one or two boxes of Deluxe figures. That was it! No exclusives. No nothing. Blah.

Went to the Kmart off Harlem and Irving Park (Harwood Heights?) and they had jack **** as well. Had the Robot Heroes and a bunch of Titanium Soundwaves clearanced for $7 each, but that was it. No exclusive Bumblebee Unleashed. No nothing. Blah.

Went across the street to Target and they had the regular stuff that the first one I went to had but it looked like it was all picked over already. No Robovision Prime.

Went to the Walmart in Northlake. No Robot Heroes exclusive but they DID have everything else including the Bumblebee/Barricade 2 pack that I picked up. Had the Peter Cullen Optimus Prime voice changer. I might swap the one Hasbro sent me for the one the Cullen version.

Stopped by the Toys R Us in Melrose Park ... they had their "large" display of Transformers items but it paled in comparison to the big, beautiful, massive display at the TRU on Western Ave in Chicago. It basically just looked like the shelving and display for the individual aisles but it was right at the front of the store near customer service. Had everything including a bunch of their Blackout/Scorponok exclusive as well as a whole bunch of Barricade Legends. Was he shipped by himself in a case? I couldn't believe they didn't have any other Legends figure but had about 15 Barricades. This was actually OK with me because I somehow overlooked him at the first TRU I went to earlier this morning so I snagged the Barricade Legend figure.

Whew. What a day. Lots o' money. Now for the fun part ... galleries!!!

That cant be. I got Ironhide from the same target on thursday for $19.99. The leaders might be more but the voyagers shouldnt be. Unless they got jacked within two days. If thats the case then i dont like target any more.
