I had wanted to post a Robot mode group pic last night, too, but I was convinced to leave my toys for the evening. So I make up for it this morning, by adding even more Primes!

With his somewhat smaller scale, he definitely lacks the shelf presence of the original Masterpiece Prime, but he more then makes up for it with an elegance that makes the original MP Prime just seem like a big, blocky, unrefined chunk of metal and plastic. (I shall have to remember that line when I get around to writing my review. Really need to finish Giant first, though!)

Well, now to wake she who did the aformentioned convincing last night, so we can be off to see Skyfall. Have a lovely day, folks!

Still waiting for mine to arrive :/ Whoever's been handing the package in the USPS is very special. It went to like 3 places in NJ, then out to the middle of Long Island, back to a city in NJ then went right back to the SAME sorting facility it had been in Long Island.

*sigh*

As was mentioned, there was a 20% off $100 purchases coupon. I was on vacation in Florida and found MP Optimus while there. He was still $99.99 so I bought my daughter a Tinker Bell PEZ to go over $100 lol. And thus I did the happy dance.

Consipracy theorists believe, and possibly rightly so, that MP Optimus wasnt being seen in large numbers because of that coupon and that TRU was waiting for it to expire before throwing MP OP out in larger numbers.

It is quite possible to pick him up close to $70 after applied discounts as I picked one up the my store when they appreared at the 99.99 price when the 20% off coupon was active and I opened a TRU credit card which took off an additional 15% off making him $72.75 after taxes, but for them to mark this item to $69.99...well sir, something just doesn't jive here :-?

that's close enough, and an amazing score at $70-72. As a collector or SW and TF, you're more prone to get a good discount on big ticket SW toy than TF. The Republic attack shuttle used to be $80-90, but it's on sale 39.99 at TRU currently. For one example

Got mine today!! Box was in great condition and I will admit that I was really surprised about the size of this set. This is one fabulous looking figure. I must give it "Top Billing" on my shelf. To me, this is definitely a Masterpiece.
