And they may make another one, but alas the only "Classics" ones we've seen since the original Classics release was the Deluxe version that came with Deluxe tank Megatron, two deluxes based on the Videogames and just recently the Orion Pax version. Maybe there'll be another Voyager-sized Prime coming from HasTak that'll work well in the Classics/Generations styling, but since nothing comparable has come out in the last 8 years, we're kind of impatient on that front.

My theory is that Cloud is their last attempt at milking the Classics OP mold before they release a new voyager. Crossing my fingers.

I just transformed my Orion for the first time today and as good as it looks, there is nothing fun about the transformation (except maybe the legs) Getting the cab together is a tabbing nightmare. Not as bad as Hegemon (which I gave up before figuring out) but definitely on that level. Don’t get me wrong, the figure looks awesome. But the level of complexity is no fun. That is unless you find the fear of breaking your $100 figure fun. Orion is much more of a display piece than a transformer. I don’t regret buying him because my Henkei Prime now sits snugly in his new Trailerforce body. But Orion is definitely not for those who enjoy typical Hasbro “generations style” transformations.

Dude, I gotta just buy you an extra Henkei Prime, seriously :P! You of all people should have at least 2 or 3 of them.

Plus, you can get the KODX version - that way, you don't even have to support Hasbro!

LOL I got so many of that mold.

Henkei version

Nemesis version

Official Ultra Magnus version

KO Ultra Magnus version

KO Hasbro version

KO Black Wonderfest version 1 (with bad arm)

KO Black Wonderfest version 2

KO Nemesis version (sleep mode prime)

KO Blue version

KO SG Botcon version

I needed to try something new. But I must admit nothing is more fun than transforming the Hasbro mold. I can live with the arm kibble. :D

For anyone disappointed with the general sparseness of the figure, or the clear windows, Reprolabels have produced a set which improves this figure a lot, IMO. Check it out:

I like the set but im not gonna put the window stickers on. I just dont trust adhesive over clear plastic in the long run.

I reckon you could trim the stickers and put them on the red plastic behind the windows, provided you can get behind the windows of course. The lack of window tint is my major disappointment with the figure.

I like what others have done, popping off the windows and painting silver behind them. That fixes 50% of my issues with this figure, and I may get one because of that mod.

Has anyone seen a scale photo between Toyworlds Orion and iGears Faith leader knock off and if so can someone post it?

Funnily enough I was only looking at iGears website just yesterday, so took another look at Faith Leader.
Assuming the height is either same or just smaller than Orion, I would grab a FL and use him with the bundled Orion Pax head. ;)

the similarities between these non-primes is deplorable

super long shins and forearms, short thighs and upper arms, and generally just looks like a stack of bricks... same goes for not-megatron

Seriously? Isn't Faith Leader made of crappy plastic and likes to fall apart, while Orion here is actually made of good plastic.
The only thing Faith Leader has over this is that it's more G1, since it's a KO of MP1.

Faith Leader has been my Classics Prime for years, and he's been great.
I've had zero problems with him.

To be fair, he mostly stays on the display shelf, I don't really play with most of the figures after transforming them a couple times when I get them.

Before MP-10 came out, I displayed iGear's Faith Leader with Wal-Mart's MP Skywarp - they were basically the same height. I sold my Faith Leader a couple years ago, and never looked back. It may have been a neat placeholder, but it was just that: a placeholder.

I don't know, I just kept reading reviews and reports back then complaining about the figures falling apart, mainly the hands braking off of the arms and the waist snapping off during transformation.
The clear version was even worse with it just coming apart and parts snapping off during unpacking and reviewing.
So to hear that you still have yours is pretty surprising.

The first run of FL had some serious issues. iGear went back and revised materials and design (IIRC) and issued a version 2. I don't have any of the version 1, but I do have their Ultra Magnus who also used the version 2 fixes. Still a little fragile (I mainly have him in display only), but my figure's "cuffs" can fall off and easily put back on. I kinda wish I had picked up FL version 2 when I had the chance, but with MP-10 in-hand I don't get too down.

Ha ha... When you quote me without the surrounding context like that, it almost sounds like a resounding endorsement of Orion, as opposed to my expressing that (to me) he is the less undesirable option of two figures I don't much care for. (One, Orion, because I find it butt ugly, and the other, Faith Leader, because it's a dirty filthy bootleg that deserves to die, and I hope it burns in hell! Er... please imagine that last bit in Sam Jackson's voice for full effect. :P )
