This is MP scale, not deluxe. And even at deluxe the 3Ps got there first twice over (although only one was worth anything).

The original scratch build fan creation of Arcee which got "Mr. Masterpiece" a job at Takara looked a lot like this.

Yeah, it's the same sorta transformation as Delicate Warrior and Valkyrie.

Except worse?? I mean here there's also no back to the car, but it's a lot more streamlined in vehicle mode. In terms of engineering Valkyrie might actually have better ideas. It's put together like garbage, but the transformation might be better than this stab at an MP.

Those both look better than this in car mode. The way her legs become... whatever they are in car mode almost makes it look like a rickshaw.

And even then, the front of the car mode doesn't even look that good either. I try to find the good in everything and not be too critical, but this is a total fail. What a shame.

It's like an action master. But half an alternative mode. Halftion master? :-?

It's as if someone was practicing designing a TF, and when they were only halfway through, someone else found the plans and thought it was finished, so they sent it to the factory. And yet, somehow nobody brought up that this was an incomplete design.

I get that G1 Arcee is difficult--maybe impossible--to make screen-accurate without shellforming. There's a point where, as a designer, you probably have to just bear down and accept that. I think you have to trust that your customers will be forgiving of the shell, considering this is a character design that was never made with toy production in mind in the first place.
