Its Menasor obviously and by the looks of it its IDW inspired from the Enemies of the system comic where Swindle cobbles the stunticons together from stolen combiner tech.

this looks sweet, but also, dammit. i just dropped dough for add-ons for my hastak menasor to bring him up to snuff. really seemed like no one besides fansproject was gonna do menasor and the fansproject one is not for me. oh well. first world problem

Eh. I think I'm done with 3rd party combiners. I MAY buy Maketyoys' Defensor and, maybe, TFC's Predaking, but this new scale? Forget it.

I hear you, though for a different reason. HasTak's Combiners may not be perfect, but they're still pretty darned good with the addition of a kit. I no longer see the need to spend $400 on a combiner if it's rather obvious it'll be something that will be done from Hasbro's wheelhouse.

There's that too.
I don't regret the combiners I've already gotten, but I don't need to put down that kind of change over and over and over again. I have a 3rd party version of a Combiner and an official version. I think that's about all I need.

im not into masterpiece much but i would have no problem putting this menasor on my classics shelf, combiners should be huge. anyway judging by sideswipe they wouldn't be too much bigger than classics scale

Grrr... just like I thought. See, I missed out on Intimidator, but I was planning on buying one second-hand. This guy some along, and looks real nice even in grey, but costs $100 per limb. I'm definitely waiting to see what people say about them quality-wise. I'll say this: the FP version looked more "re-imagined-y," and this one seems to be going for an MP vibe, so they both have their charms in my opinion. If somebody ever does a G2 re-color of the whole team, I'm all over that.
