Just a silly thought, since Arcee was a complete TakaraTomy design (I forget who exactly did it) it may not have had to adhere to the 5mm standard. On the flipside, the retooling may mean the original weapons will be dropped from this release.
But ya Jelz, you would think Tak would use 5mm pegs. They invented the things!
Do we know her hands have been retooled? Maybe the weapon was retooled.
How will she hold together in alt mode?

Disclaimer: I've now had Arcee for a whopping 17hrs, so I'm new to the mold. What do you mean by "Holding the weapon in alt mode?" I thought tyhey just kinda shoved up outta the way? Going to go peruse the galleries

Instructions did a "GREAT" job of illustrating this.

Flash, I was totally being sarcastic when I said "GREAT". I hope you knew that.Flashwave wrote:Cobotron wrote:Flashwave wrote:Cobotron wrote:It is a good question, but important to note how involved her hands and gun are in her transformation. Yup, pictures are a few pages back.
Thanks MSG!
But I see flat hand pegs...
This could very well be a prototype or color mock-up. I dunno?

I didn't pull them out either until I noticed how weird and dangly her arms were in alt mode, and then, of course they were of no help.

When it comes to Transformers toys, Hasbro is placing a lot of emphasis on the new Combiner Wars line this year. That trend will continue at San Diego Comic-Con, as Hasbro offers an exclusive box set of Combiner Hunter figures.
The Combiner Hunters collection will include three Deluxe Scale figures - Windblade, Arcee and Chromia. All three figures feature unique paint schemes and exclusive Combiner Hunter accessories. The set is based on the Combiner Hunters comic book storyline, which sees these three female Transformers team up to take down the original Combiner, Devastator.
Check out this set below, along with the standard Devastator set that will also be sold at the show:
