To be fair, IDW Arcee is kind of a vicious psycho killer (or at least has a history of being one. Not too sure of how she behaves nowadays).MGrotusque wrote:So Arcee is one of those weirdos that has a face tattoo that nobody wants to get caught staring at because you don't know how mentally stable they are and you can't believe how stupid they are for getting a face tattoo.

thats a TakTom fig.Nemesis Primal wrote:Shockwave7 wrote:It takes some believing that a motorcycle, an airplane and a sedan would stand a chance. They could make it believable if Devastator did so much damage to the hunters that even if they won, they would feel like they lost.
Construction vehicles aren't known for their speed, so hit-and-run tactics might be a good idea.
Plus Victorion is supposed to show up in Combiner Hunters IIRC, so that could even things up a bit.Gearslide wrote:Those weapons are comically oversized, especially Arcee's. Like, you could scale Arcee's sword down by 50% and it would still be too gigantic.
Maybe the combiner she's hunting is Grand Scourge?

And in regards to taking on a Combiner, a Dump truck may be heavy duty, but if you can get that Big Honkin Sword BETWEEN LongHaul and Hook, youe gonna hit the equivalent of something fleshy

To add to that, Devastator isn't particularly intelligent. That, combined () with his somewhat slow speed would allow the 3 to outsmart him using their speed and size as a tactical advantage, as well as possibly using strategies like having Windblade swooping in from above and having Arcee and Chromia attack his legs, in other words trying to confuse Devvy through multiple areas of attack.

Which is what TwinTwist, Springer, and Sandstorm (amongst others) tried bck in dw's war within comics. Before Devy put his foot down about that

Me, too. I so want this set. Looks like Windblade's heels have been fixed, too. Oh well, can't catch 'em all.

It wouldn't be the first Japanese exclusive to turn up in the IDW-verse.
It's Victorion they're hunting.Nemesis Primal wrote:Maybe the combiner she's hunting is Grand Scourge?

I'f you're thinking of Dethsaurus, that was at least a whole series. Grand Scourge here is a one-off redeco.

In the comics, the box insinuates it's devy.

I think they're hunting Devastator and they stumble upon Victorion in the process. It makes more sense than them hunting an Autobot combiner.

Thanks to IGN that comfirmed the Transformers Combiner Hunters redecos of Arcee, Windblade and Chromia reported earlier, they also released new official images! It appears that each fembot will come with a giant sword taken from figures from verious other lines. Check them out below and remember keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates!

SillySpringer wrote:Just on a side note, I wonder if Hasbro will repaint Arcee as a different character, as a mainline release figure? And hopefully with the fixed hands. It probably wouldn't happen though till Combiner Wars is over.
The first thing I noticed is the wicked light blue tribal tattoo/flame on the front and the side of the bike. A really nice touch but personally I would've prefered for them to extend towards the back.
The overall paint apps can be considered clean and some of them are metallic blue, something that Takara version of this figure should've had, just like their releases few years back. The translucent parts are dark red instead of clear (Hasbro Chromia) and light blue (Takara Chromia).
Being a direct repaint, there's nothing different in terms of the transformation and overall, the joints are solid and tight. In robot mode, this version of Chromia has more white and grey compared to the previous 2 variants. The placement of the colors are well-thought-of without any parts looking weird or out of place.
