Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

Nemesis Primal wrote:While I personally have no interest in these RED figures, I'm popping in to this thread to let those of you who are interested know that Hasbro Pulse just added a Partner Exclusives page where they are now offering the first wave of RED figures in limited quantities, in case that is a better option for anyone than their nearest Walmart that may or may not be carrying them.
This also gives major credibility to the big leak we have with the SG repaints/Rexy crossover/etc, but that's a discussion for elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in Arcee despite trying to love her. She will be the one one I get of these

I mean, why pay 20$ for a non transforming figure when you could pay 40$
Both figures come in at 6-inches tall and are non-converting, as is the case with the R.E.D. line. By going R.E.D., Hasbro opted to "bring collectors the most screen-accurate versions of their favorite characters" for Primal and Megatron.
Where to Preorder the New Transformers R.E.D. Figures on July 23
Transformers R.E.D. Optimus Primal - 22,99 $US
Transformers R.E.D. Reformatting Megatron - 22,99 $US
Optimus Primal has 30 points of articulation and detailed paint, coming in at 74 deco ops. While not convertible, Primal does have a pair of blasters tucked away under his forearms, which is nice.
Megatron has 23 points of articulation and is modeled and decoed after the scene in the 1986 Transformers Movie "midway through his rebirth into the immensely powerful and menacing Galvatron." Megatron comes with Fusion cannon and includes 4 changeable hands holding Energon accessories.
