why not just add colin farrell and ask him to do any accent that ISNT irish?
ffs michael bay could not direct a decent film if his life depended on it. Crap cast and crap story lines in all the movies with even worse emo band doing the music for it
Just because speilberg throws money at crap till its better doesnt actually make it better
i mean ffs tf3 - hey why dont we have megatron as a death machine truck?....isnt it ment to be robots in disguise??
it was like a bad game of hide and seek - OH LOOK theres megatron 'how did you know?' maybe because you look like a mad max death truck?....
awful awful idea casting mark wahberg to do this crap. The movies are bad enough but hes been in ALOT of terrible movies that were like being in your own bath....only to find a turd in it - The Happening - is just 1 example of an awful movie this guy has done....i mean christ he seemed almost as if he couldnt even be bothered in most of the scenes
crappier? wahlberg isn't that bad, i actually enjoy quite a few of his movies. he's definitely not WORSE than shia. so i don't, at all, believe that he makes the movie "crappier"
crappy cast? in all transformers movies or all of his movies? jon voight isn't that bad, i thought that josh duhamel did a pretty good job in all of the movies. having real deal armed forces soldiers in the movies is pretty awesome. having peter cullen and leonard nimoy is pretty awesome. plus, with movies like this, they really need to use the budget wisely being that the robots are all computer generated. and it costs a lot more to add effects to a large robot dual than it would with just two normal people fighting.
emo bands? .. i assume you don't know anything about music. i can't recall a single "emo" band playing during any of the movies.
throwing more money at a movie might not make it "better", but it can certainly make it cooler. i know that the movies aren't all that thought provoking. but when i go see a movie like this, i don't go into it thinking my mind is going to be blown.. i go into it thinking that my senses will be blown, which every movie has done.
so, you're going to complain about megatron being a beat up mad max looking truck while he's living in the desert in africa? ? you do realize in the previous two movies he's only had a cybertronian mode.. and lets see.. if that truck pulled up next to you tomorrow... you'd automatically think that it was a transformer? no, so neither would people driving on the streets in the movies.
i've seen some ugly ass trucks in my day, ugly paint, ugly designs, custom grills.. etc. plus, the only thing that looks a little out of place on the truck is the spikes above the windshields.. other than that, it just looks like a normal rusty old truck.
and i guess you just missed the tone of the happening. people might think it was a bad movie, but he was acting that way for a reason. i enjoyed it.
but hey, it's hard for people to be pleased when all they're looking for is that turd in the tub rather than paying attention to everything else.
you can't please everyone.
i would rather have a different director and a fresh take on the franchise.
but i think some of you are taking it a little too far. i mean, at least we're not like the thundercats, their show being cancelled, GI Joe whose first movie wasn't very good and their second movie was such a disaster (so i read) that new scenes had to be shot and they needed to change it over to 3D to make more money.
some day we'll get a really solid couple movies. but for now, we should enjoy all of the money the franchise makes, so that in return we get stuff like masterpiece figures, generations grimlock, video games, and prices that aren't completely ridiculous like some of the other stuff in the toy aisle.
just remember, money talks. the bay movies have made a ton of money. so it's not a mistake for it to continue. it's just not the choice everyone wanted. that doesn't make it wrong.
