In the UK we even had a law called "the Sus Law" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sus_law that was one of the main causes for the Brixton Race Riots. Basically, if a police officer thought you looked sus, you could be stopped, searched and even arrested. Needless to say, it was repealed in the 1980s (although oddly politicians seem super keen on bringing it back).

Be that as it may, "sus" has only been part of pop culture lingo for the past few years.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

This interview is pretty sweet. I'm glad to have Peter Cullen with us.

Also, fun fact, the Brooklyn scenes of Rise of the Beasts were filmed in Montreal, which doubled as that borough, and Montreal just happens to be Peter Cullen's home town (as well as mine).

funny how USA's money laundering haven (the Ukraine) has never been sanctioned after bombing the east of the country (Donbas) since 2014.

Nothing can justify Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine and daily attacks on civilians. The United States is by no means perfect, but the whole world can see what's happening in Ukraine and most of us are united in sacrificing to help expel the invaders. I'm sure the mods are on their way.

Sabrblade wrote:Early reports are coming in from fans who have seen it already that this movie is dumb, but not the same kind of immature, gross-out, embarrassed-by-the-source-material kind of dumb of the Bay movies. More like a fun kind of dumb. The right kind of dumb.
These fan reports also agree that Bumblebee was still the better movie in regards to being a movie.

I heard a couple people say this is like a Saturday morning cartoon.
I'm fine with that.
