What is with army building the Conehead Seeker? It looks cool enough, I guess, but I'd rather get Sunstorm.

Excellion is a must for me. As is ... *sigh* Ramhorn. It'd have been nice to get him in literally any other way than another box set with a couple of figures I already own.

Fistitron is pretty cool. It's a maybe.

Cyberworld Galvatron is a must buy for my Galvatron collection. Even if he kinda ... sucks ...

I'm excited to see the How Wheels transformers too. Those guys actually look really neat. Especially Twin Mill!

D'oh, I forgot the Hot Wheels! Have seen them floating around on socials but they weren't on the posts linked above.

Onyx Prime looks good, I love the robot mode. The beast/dragon/griffin? alt mode also looks pretty awesome minus the robot hands as front paws? Claws? Feet? The centaur mode looks a little messy but I think that's more on how he was posed, at least for the legs. The shoulders look weird in that mode but hopefully there's a configuration to make it look better, love the head sculpt! And the staff being a bow and arrow in centaur mode, cool stuff

Alchemist Prime also looks beefy and cool, I like the alt mode too

Vortex looks really good and chonky I love it. Helicopter mode looks cool and robot mode is awesome, can't wait to see the others

Ironfist looks good, I like the alt mode. I wish the pictures got a better angle of him and Carnivac but im definitely picking them up

Sideways is cool, not attached enough to character to pick it up but looks like a pretty cool figure

I really like that ramhorn. Looks so cool. But idk if cool enough to justify double dipping on ratbat and perceptor
Patiently waiting for an updated TF:A-inspired quadruple-changing Shockwave in the generations toyline

I'm definitely in for the Target SS86 3-pk. It almost looks like Perceptor got a new facesculpt.
Ratbat looks solid, and even Ramhorn looks alright.

Vortex looks incredible, and as much as I wanted to like UW Bruticus, it just wasn't a great combiner. Even with a couple upgrade kits it didn't quite deliver. Now there's for sure something to look forward to next year.

Onyx has my attention... Is he a 4th quarter release? If so, he'll be very tempting. But any sooner than that and there are other figures that will have my focus (and money).

Beyond that, looks like I'm passing on a lot.

The combaticons looks nice and I will get them, despite having an upgraded UW Bruticus. The Carnivac pack interest me a lot because I have the G1 original.

Alchemist Prime is the first one of the Primes that I really, really want. It's the mustache.

I don't need another Perceptor, but I need the casettes...

Also, it seems that Ground Soldier is a repaint/retool from Runabout/Runamock. That set is an easy skip.
Come see my latest creation, the COMPLETE combiner team, Scorponok and his Pretenders, forming SHELLSHOCK

It looks like they're dropping the SS86 subline and going with the MTMTE tag as a "New" subline. Everything looks good but I don't want to get overly excited for releases months away.

Onyx Prime looks fantastic. They outdid themselves. Instant pre orde.
the devastation 2-pack also great, can’t have enough seekers.
Excellion, somehow you will be mine.
And my boy, Noisemaze also a fabulous update.

Vortex would be perfect if he wasn't in his boring show colors, but as-is he still looks really good, and I'll probably have to grab him anyway since I can't bank on a toy colors version actually happening and Bruticus is easily my favorite Combiner. As much as I still don't really like the principle of the frame-combiner-system or the heavy show colors leaning, that Bruticus box art does look absolutely killer, and I love that we've continued the now-tradition of Blast Off giving him built-in flamethrower capabilities.

Sideways Noisemaze and Onyx look perfect, no notes. I've definitely come around to these Onyx colors as opposed to the blue I was expecting now that we're seeing the actual figure, and I'm real happy Noisemaze is seemingly another completely new mold out of nowhere, it was basically the only way to do him justice. Zero clue what Onyx's crazy winged six-legged hooved gargoyle-thing mode is supposed to actually be, so for now I will call him a Honse.

Already have Crasher, hope the repack helps those who don't.

Excellion's colors don't actually look as good to me as I expected on this mold? I can't place why, but I think I'll be skipping him.

Ironfist Fisitron looks really good, love his IDW colors and I'm very curious to see if his whole Lightformer cannon can detach from his back or if it's just the main barrel, although I am surprised to see they used the Earth mode tooling as his base and not the Siege one. Carnivac, on the other hand....sure is also included, wish he got as much IDW sauce in his design as his versus partner.

Still not 100% sold on Alchemist being green, but I like what I see otherwise, he can come hang out.

Really loving the looks of Vortex, they did so many crazy details, they almost look out of place compared to the CW mold. Really getting me excited for the rest.

Interesting that they did toon shaded windows on the two Devastation guys, but not on the Deluxe Optimus Prime.

Didn't feel like starting a new topic, but the first look at the SDCC Void Rivals set is up featuring Siege Jetfire.

Vortex looks excellent. Onyx is different to the usual stuff at least, and that makes him cool to me. A bit annoyed that Ratbat and Ramhorn come with Perceptor, but oh well. Alchemist is a letdown to me, really random alt mode and very drab colors for a guy dealing with alchemy.

At Toy Fair 2025, Hasbro unveiled an exciting wave of new Transformers products, headlined by the launch of the Transformers: Age of the Primes line.

So I guess I'm the only one who's underwhelmed by the new combiners. I was disappointed in the new Aerialbot limbs, and Vortex isn't great either. I'll wait to see what the rest look like, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hopefully I can get that Jetfire without a lot of hassle, he actually looks better than the original release.

Vortex looks most excellent! Guess I'll be doing three combiiners then, with Superion, Bruticus and the eventual Defensor. I admit, I don't particularly care about Devastator and I have always disliked Menasor for some reason.

I might be able to get Crasher now! Yay!

I do wish I could get the Void Rival characters by themselves. I don't need another Jetfire and I don't dig that deco on him either.

Not much stood out for me, which is great for the wallet. Alchemist is okay, I like the Bot mode more than alt mode due to it looking more like an earthly human vehicle rather than something Cybertronian. So not sure whether I'll get him or not to complete the 13. Probably wait for a sale.

Vortex looks alright as well, though a bit choppy. Not being into Bruticus all that much the Combaticons don't really show up on my list of wants. I might have considered getting them if they weren't coming in the exact same year as Devestator and Superion. I'm already tapped out on Combiners for the year...

Onyx is definitely different and that makes him a tad more interesting but I feel like he's too different for me. And being that it's not a character I follow or need it's an easy pass. Ratbat and Ramhorn coming with Perceptor has always bugged me, the line doesn't need another release of him this soon for starters. Ramhorn specifically looks almost as bad if not worse than Steeljaw, IMO, so that's why this immediately became a total pass. I was torn on Steeljaw but that was only a $12 risk, I sure as heck not paying almost $40 for a bot I already have just to get it. I'm also not a big fan of Ratbat so that's not an incentive either.

I think I'll just try to hunt down the Masterpiece or 3rd party versions for both Steeljaw and Ramhorn, and probably Ravage too if this is any indication of what a new one would look like.

Onyx Prime is simply stunning!!! My favorite Prime actually came out looking straight peak, and I am so happy.

Alchemist looks more like Prime Bulkhead than the legacy Prime Bulkhead. Now give us the cyberverse new head repaint.

Vortex looks really good. I am tempted by him, but I will wait for a G2 version.

I have Crasher, glad others can get her now too.

Ironfist looks great, Carnivac a bit of a disappointment so far.

I am so annoyed that I will need to buy that Jetfire again for the Void Rivals characters.

the SS86 and Devastation guys are a pass

Thank you, yes, this, I was just going to say this. Though the abs looks more like Animated's grill abs.

Still give me a bulkhead head and I'm all over this mold.

Interesting the Studio Series Devastation 2-pack gets 2 brand new Primal styled swords (not Kingdom's) for the Elite Seeker and a small sword for the car drone.

Sad Excellion and Noisemaze are Walmart exclusives. Will make it hard for those not in the US to get them.

Hard saying since they haven't come up with a specific lore yet for this line and everything we think we know about any of them comes from a bunch of different iterations. He likes his alcohol, for all we know his weapon is literal beer goggles.

This past weekend at New York Toy Fair 2025, Hasbro officially unveiled the latest additions to the Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline — and fans can already secure their pre-orders! This exciting new lineup brings together characters from across Transformers history while expanding on the mythos of The Thirteen, the legendary first Cybertronians who shaped the fate of their world. Let's dive into the full details on these new releases.

Wreck 'N Doom Collection: Fisitron & Carnivac 2-Pack

Revealed during Hasbro's Toy Fair presentation, the Wreck 'N Doom Collection delivers a surprising team-up between two fan-favorite characters — the Autobot Fisitron (better known to some as Ironfist) and the Decepticon beast warrior Carnivac. This 2-pack celebrates the long-running Wreckers and Mayhem Attack Squad rivalry, bringing both characters into the modern Generations ecosystem.

Fisitron transforms from robot to off-road vehicle in 15 steps, while Carnivac shifts from robot to wolf in 18 steps — and Carnivac even includes a transforming Headmaster-style Survivor figure! Both characters feature blaster accessories and full articulation for dynamic posing.

Price: $49.99
Pre-order: Available exclusively on Amazon, with limited stock on Hasbro Pulse
Release Date: Fall 2025

Deluxe Class Alchemist Prime

One of the legendary Thirteen Primes finally arrives in plastic form! Alchemist Prime is one of the ancient architects of Cybertron's destiny, and now fans can add him to their collections as a fully articulated Deluxe Class figure.

Alchemist Prime transforms from robot to a Cybertronian armored car in 17 steps and comes equipped with his signature Lenses Artifact, which splits into two pieces. This figure brings one of Cybertron's mythic founders to life, perfect for building out your Age of the Primes display.

Price: $24.99
Pre-order: Available at Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers
Release Date: Fall 2025

Deluxe Class Decepticon Crasher

Making a high-speed entrance into the Age of the Primes line, Decepticon Crasher continues her transformation from Gobots icon to full-fledged Transformers character. Crasher converts from robot to sleek sports car in 18 steps and comes with two blaster accessories that work in both modes.

Crasher's appearance at Toy Fair was a standout surprise, continuing her growing presence in the Generations line. Whether you know her from her Gobots roots or her more recent Decepticon lore, she's ready to race into your collection.

Price: $24.99
Pre-order: Available now at Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers
Release Date: Fall 2025

Deluxe Class Combaticon Vortex

The Combaticons are back! Revealed alongside the rest of Age of the Primes, Vortex brings the Combaticon aerial specialist into the spotlight. This Deluxe Class figure converts from robot to helicopter in 19 steps and is fully compatible with other Combaticon figures to form a new version of the classic Bruticus combiner (other figures sold separately).

With Toy Fair confirming the Combaticons' return, Vortex is the first piece of the puzzle, giving fans a fresh take on the iconic team.

Price: $24.99
Pre-order: Available now at Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers
Release Date: Fall 2025

What is Age of the Primes?

Age of the Primes is Hasbro's newest Transformers Generations subline, built around the mythology of The Thirteen Primes — the first Cybertronians who wielded unimaginable power and shaped the entire Transformers universe. Each figure in this line either represents one of the Primes themselves or ties into their far-reaching influence, bringing together characters from across Transformers history into a shared narrative.

From ancient legends like Alchemist Prime to classic warriors like the Combaticons, Age of the Primes is shaping up to be a celebration of every era of Transformers storytelling.

Pre-Orders Now Open

With Toy Fair's reveals fresh in fans' minds, all four of these new Age of the Primes figures are available for pre-order right now. Whether you're a Wreckers die-hard, a Combiner collector, or a fan of Transformers deep lore, this wave has something for everyone.
