That's quite a normal price for an Asian MP seeker. Personally, I agree that's overpriced. I bought MP-11 Screamers for 200$ shipped and even with the coronation set, I still overpaid. The overall quality of that mold is worth 120$ top, not 200$.

So Skywarp finally gets an MP-11 mold figure and it's not even a main-line numbered MP release, just a "reissue" (even though it doesn't use the Kawamori mold)?

Poor Skywarp, always getting the shaft. Someone needs to give poor old Warpy some love.

who cares?.. it's getting made in the "new" mold, with an accurate color scheme, so what if it's not a new number?

New images have surfaced on TFClub.com of one of the Hasbro Asia Transformers Masterpiece re-issues - warm up your warp engines, and check out MP-11SW Skywarp below in regal black and purple, including the collector coin, and accessories gun-mode Megatron and Dr Arkeville mini figure. Compare, if you will, these images with previous releases of the same character in the Masterpiece line, too.

I would actually like to pick up an HA Soundwave since I missed it in stores. I really think they did a good job with that.

Skywarp is going to be a bit out of my price league these days. Just can't justify that kind of money on a figure I have two of, even with it being the new mold. But Maybe I can figure out something........

This won't be going on sale, the other Asia exclusive MPs have only gone up in price since their release. On top of that, this is Skywarp based on the more show accurate version of the mold.

Yeah, I somehow managed to miss this until yesterday, so I bit and pre-ordered it from RK, cheaper than any other place I found it at, 210 dollars including shipping. I feel really, really sad and dirty that this cost me more before shipping than MP Ultra Magnus did including shipping. :BANG_HEAD:

At least I have a full set of Seekers now, and won't have to get one till the Coneheads finally show up.

I definitely felt like the 200 bucks for MP-11SW was kind of a moneygrab, but unless Hasbro releases him over here (which seems unlikely considering he's exclusive) that the cost it takes to be the boss.

I won't be able to get him in the initial release as my money is tied up getting Ultra Magnus. I have to pace myself with the Masterpiece releases, although I do have something in the works to possibly come up with the extra cash to get him sooner. THat's a "we'll see", though.

When someone finally buy and receive him, I wanna know if the chest locking issue have been fixed. I mean, the chest lock perfectly on MP-03, but it's floppy on MP-11.

Huh? The Hasbro Asia MP reissues so far are Starscream and OP, both of which are still widely available. SS in particular has been on sale a bunch of times.

Skywarp is a special case, and 'hardcore' collectors like most of us here consider him a necessity, but I'm not sure we're representative of the market here, especially with the prohibitive price point.

Kinda does.

Ya know, the more I look at the MP Seeker mold, the more I realize how truly awesome the Classics Seeker mold is. The Masterpiece mold is almost 2000% (!) of the cost of a Classics Seeker figure, and it still isn't any better as far as proportion and accuracy. Sure it is smaller, but it is truly amazing.
