Starbuck14 wrote:Did I read right that these are only available at dollar tree? Or more likely dollar general Where they have been previously?
they are at family dollar
I found Grimlock and Optimus at Big Lots.
The smaller ones were also found at Five Below at multiple instances.
And Walgreens, though usually only during the holidays. And yes, Dollar General as well.
Emerje
I've found them at both Family dollar, Dollar General, and Dollar Tree
I'm sure dollar tree sightings would interest people. Could you take pics next time to show which of these authentics do they have there and what are the prices?

Do you remember the Authentics line? Those were official dollar store type Transformers for younger fans (or more likely their parents shopping at Family Dollar). Well chuckdawg1999 has a review of the Soundwave that was supposed to show up. We don't have word that it has made it's way to stores yet, so if it did, please let us know. In the meantime, enjoy the review and let us know what you think.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Authentics Soundwave is a great neo-G1 update using the Evergreen design. Transformation is smooth, simple and satisfying. Soundwave is a great for those looking for a more involved version of the Cyberverse figure.

Obvious hollow legs are obvious, but that Soundwave look pretty damn good overall and it offer neat little tricks. Plus, highly posable so that's surprising.
If I come across it in the wild, I may pick him up.
I would love a size comparison with the Warrior Cyberverse version and other Transformers. He looks good, I like the Authentics line, hope they do more. And hopefully they make all the Cyberverse cartoon figures!!!

Fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg wrote in to say he had gotten his hands on Authentics Ratchet and made a review, which you can find below.
While these may not be figures on most fans' want list, it is good to know what's out there and we can all live vicariously through Chuck to see if we are indeed missing out on these, or not. Enjoy!
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Ratchet is a fun little figure and the perfect introduction to the character. Transformation is interesting with a sliding gimmick that adds quite a bit of heft to the figure namely in the legs. Definitely worth a pick-up to add to your Authentics collection.

I would love it if every Transformers reviewer on Youtube ever would include size comparisons.

Walmart Canada has some new Transformers toys that were not seen in the country before. These are the 10 inch Grimlock and Starscream from the Authentics line. They are leader sized but at the deluxe price. So very simple, yet big and inexpensive for younger fans to have a big transforming toy that they can transform by themselves and that wont break the bank. These use the Evergreen designs we have seen in the past. They were 19.99 CAD, 15 USD. The previous wave was exclusive to Walmart in Canada, so this will probably be the same. You can see images of the toys along with their transformation schemes below.

I sent an e-mail to the staff and didn't get any conclusive responses.

Weapon: Saber Blade
I think those might be the Authentics Titan Changers. The Megatron and Optimus sure look similar enough.

Yes, that is what they are.
And Emerge, people have reached out on Facebook, these showed up at Aldi's in the US. Looks like it's old news US wise, but these were never really reported.
