So yeah, small deluxes that wont scale with anything else. And if anyone of you also visits other forums, you might want to tell the TFW board members that since they look super confused over this.

But didnt 80s kids grow up with simple TF toys that looked nothing like the show and were barely painted and lacked articulation?
Like this one?
Think of where we would be if parents didnt buy those?
I fail to see how these are any different.

You are SO smart for comparing a 30+ year old figure here.

Like Beast Wars, or RID, or Armada..I know, I am a Geewunner who is whinning about too much G-1 Inspired merchandise continually coming out, revamping the look just a bit, stylized a bit more.. but essentially they are always going back to the original for inspiration and story ideas.
It's nice.. But I kinda want to see something that gives us updated figures based on the best of the entire universe or genre.
I'd love to see a Hasbro or Takara version of updated figures from Armada, and RID. The Cars in RID were pretty cool. Much better then the shell formers some of the Armada Line up had. I loved the Ultra Magnus and Optimus Fire Truck combo mode..
wonder when the Armada generation of adults will be demanding their own toyline like us old timer Geewunners?
Or would RID be a better line to release with new and better engineered figures??
Only the future will tell, but it's definitely a great time to be a Transformers Fan, and a G-1 Alum.

we actually got updated beast wars rhinox, waspinator, and rattrap. We also got rid sky byte, armada starscream, and beast machines tankor. That being said, i do agree with you. I'll take what i can get, but if we can get a line with lots of rid and cybertron updates, that would be nice. I would like to see them updating rid datsun brothers, as well as cybertron starscream
For just one year because that year, 2014, was a brand anniversary year.bacem wrote:we actually got updated beast wars rhinox, waspinator, and rattrap. We also got rid sky byte, armada starscream, and beast machines tankor.

And, well, the old brand team was still around back then for that year, which happened to also be that brand team's final year before the current Warden-headed brand team succeeded them with the AOE and CW lines.
Not to mention a certain other Armada figure.Overcracker wrote:Armada shellformers? I believe you are confused. If anything Armada was known for its blocky and not-shelformery toys. The most shelformery you got was Red Alert,
