The Bumblebee movie really opened the floodgates with that licence. Sure, we already had the MP (the first ever VW Licenced BB toy) but this movie just gave us a truckload. We got the studio series, the MP, the giant eletrocnic one and even a licenced Tiny Turbo changer, to name a few.
And it got me wondering, of all of those, were there any good toys? I ask because the SS volkswagen Bee was not great and I never handled the MP, nor that giant eletronic one with the ball in the middle.
The MP Bee is really good, I didn't handle the subsequent releases. But the Netflix version is pretty much the same size and looks just like it, but at a better price. I was disappointed with the 1st SS Bee I didn't bother getting any of the others, VW or Camaro. (Plus I never liked the character and I thought the Bee movie was crap.)chuckdawg1999 wrote:william-james88 wrote:I hope you will all pardon this thread resurection but I got into a good discussion about the VW licence and wanted to continue it. The first MP Bumblebee is fantastic. I just got it, but I really like the Netflix Bee too.

I'll keep an eye out for a good listing.

I didn't know, I was sure you had it. I had 2 and sold 1.
