There are 2 other reasons.
Firstly, this becomes the closest Bee figure we are getting to his look in the Netflix series, where he doesn't turn into a Beetle and has the same body as Cliffjumper (or vice versa, doesnt matter, point is they have the same body).

Also, thanks to that release of him, we now have the Bazooka Ironhide used

Those are reasons for the figure to exist. Not reasons for it to be part of this particular set.
He’s totally unrelated to 2 evil predacons and a decepticon headmaster.
He would accomplish the same thing in a set wiith other bees or even a Bumblejumper set with other recolors of the same mold. Here it seems he’s just tacked on to make it Buzzworthy.
Not that I mind, The mold is nice, and the accessories too and I don’t own a Bee from Siege, Earthrise or Netflix. But still, its like making a set with Earthrise Prime, Beastwars Megatron, Beast Machines Tankor and a random headmaster. Just odd.
