Not when Fun Pub only ever retools one aspect per mold (usually being the head) outside of uber expensive super special "centerpiece" figures (which Skywarp most certainly isn't).Ultra Markus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Clearly the head was a greater concern.Ultra Markus wrote:hes still missing the fan turbines on his rear stabilizer wings
clearly if they went so far as doing a head a simple little thing like different tail wings would be no problem

Or the Movie 1 mold Starscream redecos of G1 Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp (and Ramjet).

I totally included FOC seekers in my calculation - I was thinking Classics, FOC, and now Armada molds.
But you are correct. I did forget about those wily Legends class Seekers. I like those dudes.

Nacelle's wings were recycled from BotCon 2007 Thrust, whose wings were new tooling (but were the same tooling duplicated rather than two new wing molds).Hellscream9999 wrote:Ultra Markus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Clearly the head was a greater concern.Ultra Markus wrote:hes still missing the fan turbines on his rear stabilizer wings

Except that, that's not necessarily true, and that there's nearly no precedent for them retooling the bodies beyond the head (nacelle might be the only one that I can think of)
"Proper hands" have floppy, easily-breakable fingers?megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Heh, be glad I didn't mention the Animated Seekers.megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You could always buy the original Armada Seekers.megatronus wrote:So I'll have 3 sets of deluxe seekers, 1 set of leader seekers, and 1 set of MP seekers... how about some voyagers???

At least the Animated Seekers have proper hands...

Why yes... yes I will. You know we're going to get CW seekers, in all the ways, given those head sculpts.
Grand Galvatron is so deliciously random...

I never knew "proper" meant "super fragile".megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"Proper hands" have floppy, easily-breakable fingers?
They're shaped like hands, yes? Then they're proper hands.

proper =/= functional
william-james88 wrote:If ever Sabrblade decides to go on vacation, I am glad to know we can rely on you.
But is something really functional if it's often prone to easy breakage?megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I never knew "proper" meant "super fragile".megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"Proper hands" have floppy, easily-breakable fingers?

Yes, let's thank them for giving us the last figure needed to complete the Armada Seeker trio since Hasbro isn't gonna do this anytime soon (as evidenced by Fun Pub even doing this at all) and since Takara's not likely to release it since they never released Skywarp in the original Micron Densetsu line (Japan only got the toy as a USA Edition release of the Hasbro figure).Doubledealer93 wrote:and it just HAD to be a TFCC exclusive. thanks funpub.

Thank you, Fun Pub, for giving this fandom a figure that it otherwise wouldn't be likely to get from elsewhere.

Um...Rated X wrote:This is a rare case that I wish TFCC would have not done a new head. Now we will have a skywarp that does not match starscream or the upcoming takara thundercracker. Funpub just created a new head for no aparant reason. They waisted a new head sculpt that the could have given to one of the 4.0 figures instead. I would have rather seen windsweeper get a new head instead of the skydive bucket head. Might have to get a takara starscream and give the hasbro head to skywarp now.
