I'm very much in favor of this. I think it's ideal. The question of pricing is a serious concern on my end though. It could possibly be a train wreck if the prices are the same as the boxed exclusives we already get.

A reliable source tells me they're only poly-bagged so hopefully the fancy-box-budget can go towards dropping the prices on these guys.

Aye, that they are. Hopefully they still have bio cards.

They also said they've developed a new double-layered shipping packages to better preserve the figures en route. Something about cross-corugating.

If it makes it cheaper I'd be happy to scrap the bio cards and just have the profiles in the club magazine.

Actually I rather have the biocards. Yeah, they might just be a 1-sided colourful piece of cardboard but it kinda gives the figure identity and closer to being an exclusive and not just any other toy.

These probably are poly-baged, and considering we're paying $40 for Runamuck with 6 magazines, hopefully these can cost $30 per deluxe. I'll be happy if it costs $30 per deluxe, that just leaves the Ultra-sized Ultra Mammoth to bump the price... If it's $30 per deluxe, and say $60 for Ultra Mammoth, I'll still be happy to pay $210 for the subscription of all 6. Kinda digging all except circuit, so hopefully he fetches $70 on ebay, Runamuck is getting bought on ebay for $90++. :D

I'm with Fuzzy. Cards have always also reminded me of the 80's when Gen 1 had the whole card and gum thing going on.

Breakdown throws away the thought that Funpub destroys their head molds after use. At least right away anyways. That head is at least 2 years old.

I was a little miffed when this occurred to me, too. But then I thought of Botcon Thundercracker, and so I laughed and laughed... and hey, remember that time, with the long threads about TC? Those were good times.

Agreed. The price alone will make or break this for me. Most of these toys I could live without - except Scourge. I'd dropkick orphans for Scourge.

I'm down for all of them.

The only one I was kinda iffy on was Circuit and he grew on me.
