Well, who didn't see Slipstream coming from that SS mold.

I considers using the Prime Entertainment Pack version of Starscream as Slipstream, this repaint works fine too. Circuit is a nice mold, but not sure I need more than one of it, and the colours are a bit crazy. Jackpot is an easy pass, but I suppose there would be a decent amount of Animated collectors who'd want it. Ultra Mammoth looks cool, and has a ridiculous name that is full of win. Breakdown is brilliant, but I'm very sad that Hasbro couldn't just knock out a cheap Scourge in a main line to add a bit more money for new molds.
Probably won't be getting this lot, due to the Club's pricing and shipping to Europe being a major rip.
Oh well.

assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

So... why is FunPub now doing the subscription thing? Did someone else take over their business department? I guess they're 'transforming' from a fan group, into a business group, asking for more money and whatnot...

definitely down for this
pretty interesting choices
if i dont like it, i will flip it online
at least something organized is being done by TFCC/ Hasbro that will hopefully provide some longevity

Actually a lot of fans have been asking them to do this.

Bad.
The following evaluation is correct.
The only one I like is Scourge who I'll likely obtain via means not involving the TFCC.

Hmm... so this would be like the magazine subscription but you get toys instead of magazines? Seems like a cool idea. Also, the fact that they allow 1 month subscription means that you can subscribe for that 1 toy and not buy the whole damn set for a year just to get 1 you like.
So, does this require existing membership? Or can you just sub for the toys without the magazines (I only subbed this year for Runamuck).
I'm interested in Breakdown, Slipstream and Scourge. Hopefully they don't cost more than $35US a piece... since I expect these to roll out in the white mailer box and not the classy black collector box.

Um no... Subscribtion for toys last 3-4 weeks, my guess is you can subscribe for only the toys that you like.

Indeed, I'd like to know as well. I'm particularly interested in Scourge and somewhat in UM and I've got a buddy that just about lost it when I told him the FE SS mold was getting an official Slipstream redeco, haha.

I'll be doing this, but only for Slipstream, Breakdown and possibly Circuit. For those of you wanting the others...whatever this costs, divide that by six and that's what I'll be selling those three at here at the forums. I'd rather help people that way if I at least can.

The toy subscription lasts for 3-4 months each time. So I guess you can just subscribe for that 2 toys.

I don't mean this in a suspicious way, just in a clarifying way but did the club say that for sure, or are you speculating?

Is it intertwined with the comics? cos I like those, and I don't want to have to get that stupid ass breakdown just to get the comic.

Whoops, i meant weeks

And it states on this article "sign-up period that will last 3 or 4 weeks".
Does it mean that membership lasts for 3-4 weeks a a time? If it means I have to pay for the whole year and get all the toys...

Holy crap then It would cost at least $250. I might not want it anymore.

Taking that literally, I interpret that as being a period of 3-4 weeks in which you can START the subscription, ie. you can't start halfway through.

Ultra Mammoth....sweet!
Not joining any "club" though. It's a bad deal.
Just like Matty Collector does with the Club Eternia and the MOTUC line. Just a big pain in the ass. Just put the things on sale at your web site and let us buy them.
When a massive corporation wants you to join their "club"......it's a scam.

Diem is right. If you subscribe it's for all six figures. You can pay all at once or in installments of 3 payments. They did say that there would be an opportunity to buy individual figures but those would be at a higher price point individually than the cost of the figures in the sub.

Re: Transformers Collectors' Club Figure Subscription Service announced - 6 figures revealed
I seldom remark on topics regarding THE Official Transformers Brand Collectors Club, but when I do, I prefer
Dos Equis...
Okay.
Obviously the people attending Botcon (the official convention of the brand's unintended market) will acquiesce during this "round table" q&a session with Fun Publications Inc. But, how is there not one humble considerate question or remark about the on-going investigation or even about the incomplete (semi?) functionality of the website? Do these Bot-convention attendees realize that all current members still have no access to the archives or forums? Man, it's one thing to be compromised, but it's another to bask in that position.
On topic:
A subscription service, you say? One in which you must pay a subscription fee to pay for a subscription service fee? Great service; God bless the fortunes of the fortunate willing and able to afford it. I guess I'll just have to live with my KO and unlicensed toys. In the mean time, Wonka can shove that golden ticket where the sun don't shine on it.

The first thing Brian Savage dd when the panel started was apologize to everyone. He also said that the store would be back up soon. No mention of the forums though
As for me, I'll be keeping them all but for Slipstream, whom I have a custom for, anf Jackpot, because I don't do animated
