You must hate how Combiner Wars has torsos who don't have limbs of their own and online-exclusive spare limb guys. Not sure about how you feel about the legends-class guys.
Meh, I'm ambivalent really. There are so many things I want to buy right now... I don't feel too bad about the things I don't want to buy.
I'll admit I don't care for the Scramble City idea. I like the combiners like Superion and Devastator to be a specific amalgamation of the specific personalities that create him... Mixing and matching feels cheap to me. 'spare parts' are annoying if that was the figure I wanted in the first place...
My collection is fairly focused. I like Alpha Bravo enough as he is... but if I had known about quickslinger originally I wouldn't have bought AB... Now I'm torn. I have little attachment to QS, but knowing he's out there and would have completed 'original' superion... kinda irks me.
Internet makes things easier regardless. Exclusives and online shopping don't mean much anymore. It's easier to track things down online then it was back in the 80's hunting for that missing leg or arm...
Legends?? I'm not a fan of tiny toys... I can tolerate it a bit with guys like Cosmos and powerglide who were originally tiny... But I would have been happier if they had been bumped up to the deluxe class and blend in a bit better with the rest of the guys. I have Igear's 'not-Brawn' standing next to Prowl, Hot rod, and Hound... I like him a lot better big then I ever did small. Still... tradition and all that. If they keep making minibots tiny... I won't complain.
Characters like itty bitty Rodimus or Shockwave?? Yeah, not a fan of those at all. I would love a good shockwave... but I'm not buying a mini one...
All comes down to the beauty of only buying what I like... There will always be a ton of transformers out there that I will never buy... a few more to the list doesn't break my heart.
