Sorry, I do use the edit button, I just sometimes forget I posted a comment on that thread because I AM WRITING COMMENTS ON SO MANY THREADS AHHHHHHHHH!

Also I was commenting to two different people, is there a way to quote two different people in the same comment? I must know how to.

Hitting reply gives you the topic preview (you gotta scroll down) and then you click on quote for each person you want to quote.
Topic preview doesn't work if you quote someone directly.

Re: Transformers Generations Devastator - So Big It Needs Its Own Thread
Just bit the bullet and got the perfect shelfmate for this guy, Planet X Genesis, will do nicely as a rival for the big green meanie.
So with my usual luck in buying shiny third party goodies just before the new official, cheaper version comes out most of the time expect a Titan Omega Supreme announcement anytime now lol.
(Disclaimer so as to not confuse anyone, I have no idea if this will happen, don't take this as rumour of one.)

So long as you're comfortable with Devastator towering over Genesis.Crimson Prime wrote:Just bit the bullet and got the perfect shelfmate for this guy, Planet X Genesis, will do nicely as a rival for the big green meanie.

We did get Transformers Platinum Edition Omega Supreme from Hasbro (repaint of Energon Omega Supreme) just a few years ago. Don't think we'll see a brand new official mold for him for a while yet.

Have wanted Genesis for a while, saw him cheaper than usual and jumped on him, really in that capacity he's a stand-in until Shuraking is complete.

Life sized as in toy sized or meant to be real construction vehicles?

Heroic Diaclone robo. And yup, meant to be real construction vehicles in the Diaclone fiction.

The Diaclone toys, including what would become Devastator, were all meant to be real world vehicles in the same way as Transformers do. It was Microman (specifically Microchange) that had them as "life-size", which is why they turned into household objects. This is where Soundwave, Blaster, the cassettes, Megatron, Reflector, and the mini-cars came from.

Oh Japan, I just can't stop watching your commercials... unless the commercial has a creepy ghost girl in it.

Hey guys, all this talk of scale is driving me kinda nuts. I thought scale was just to imitate how the characters look like in comparison to one another in the G1 tv show (or whatever show a figure originates from).
By that definition, Generations Devastator combined is not in scale with the other combiners but is in scale with deluxe class figures (and technically is in scale with the individual combiner components). The other CW combiners on the other hand, while they are in scale with oneanother, they are not in scale with deluxe class figures when combined, they are more in scale with Legends size figures. Which is why Shockwave and others being released as legends figures makes sense. There are currently 2 scales at play in combiner wars and generations due to the mass shifting aspect. I dont see what is so hard to udnerstand about all this.

Yeah I don't care about scale.

Is Silly banned yet? I know he just made my ignore list.
(Not an easy feat. Not even Rated X has made my ignore list because he, at least, has substance to contribute. However much anyone might disagree with how X presents his ideals.)
