G2 deco Constructicons/Devastator. It'll be just like the Hasbro Retail version, except sporting the SDCC non-visored head, and it'll be all stupid and yellow. God I hate yellow.
I meant to say OTHER than Devy! in whatever redeco he comes in!

I'd put money down that we'll see a new Trypticon before we get another Titan Class Combiner.
But this is a discussion for another thread.

That's why I never plan on buying transformers when someone comes with me, or plan on going somewhere that may have them
The comments last page...Nemesis: you are the man!
Fort Max: some parts look like Metro (arms), but the treads, legs and proportions are off. I don't think they're using that mold.
On topic: my parents agreed to get me Devy for Christmas! No $150 for me! and I have patience, albeit very little, so it cannot come quick enough

It's a reshelling of the Metroplex mold (notice the same crack and molding details on the lower leg):D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Fort Max: some parts look like Metro (arms), but the treads, legs and proportions are off. I don't think they're using that mold.

Damn reshells. I'm ok with smaller reshells, but leaders and larger are deserving of new molds. That looks pretty drastic, but still, I wish they'd look at G1 fort max for transformation. And I wish Fort Max was leader so a could afford him and he'd look more IDW accurate (and MArcel comics accurate size-wise)

I'm not sure. I think they only count the head. the cannons on plex didn't count, so I don't think Maxs treads will count...

Balls.
If Fort Max is Leader sized, I'll get him. But I have no real desire to own a Titan Class Fort Max. While I think it's cool, the character only really appeals to me because of what he is in the IDW comics.

I'm gonna buy him, the TT version eventually but just my 2 cents, though the Metroflex mold is awesome and all, the feel of the plastics is flimsy compared to the Encore version or Fortmax himself. It's like comparing an American muscle car to a Honda or WWII Mustang fighter plane to a Japanese Zero fighter.
Also, Gen-1 Fortmax had a working elevator and a gravity aided launching bay with it's ramps and a holding cell. I don't think the Metroflex mold can be repurposed with those features. And maybe, recreate/remold the forearms to look different from the base mold's Metroflex style to the G1 toy style?
Maybe getting ahead of myself too much.

Aiming to head up this afternoon after work. So if everything goes according to plan (and me being the Negatron that I am, expect something to go wrong), I should have him in about 12 hours.
And I don't live in the desert you git.
You sure? I, mean it is an hour to the nearest Devastator
Isn't all Australia desert where everything with more than two legs can kill you?

looks to me like the only the lower legs and forearms are shared and even the feet look different. I think the torso, head, shoulders, and possibly upper legs all look different. i wouldn't discount the possibility of classic fort max features yet.

Mine are very stiff, albeit moveable. They need to be to support the figure's weight. You're probably fine.
