Oh I very much doubt anyone on these forums would be that picky and dismissive.....
Bonecrusher also had green treads in the cartoon.Madeus Prime wrote:the the bi-colored treads for the chest really don't look right. I know, I know, toy accuracy, but a bit of creative design with big Devs here wouldn't have gone amiss.

My my, how easily people forget that the treads forming the armpits and not staying connected to the arms is exactly how it was for Devastator in the cartoon:
Bloomin heck, 2 pics would have proved your point!

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Wedge, Hightower, Heavy Load, Grimlock, Scoop and Quickmix.![]()
I like what I'm seeing so far, can't wait to see proper in-hand images.
Ooohh, yeah. I like that. There really are a lot of molds that could make RID guys lately.
There's also a lot of repaint potential for the exclusives market. Two different G2 decos they could give him, plus a ROTF deco if they're feeling really cheeky.
If they're smart, they'd go for the Diaclone deco which has both orange/red and yellow.

And aside from the small head, I think he looks awesome!
Also, the arms do look like they are part of the alt modes, hence why they might be small. They need to fit below the vehicle.
Wishful thinking. This sucker will be harder to find than MP-10 was. One look at it says it's a scalper's dream. I'd find a way to order it online

They are aimed at children, hence the simplified style and playability. Of course it would look G1, because G1 is the basis to which most incarnations of the TF derive from. Furthermore, just because something is G1 doesn't mean that it is for adults. Children know and love G1. My boys favorite TF movie is the 1986 one we grew up with. Not because I forced it on them. Because they like the dramatic and high stakes reality that is the 1986 movie.
I preferred the cake explanation. It involves cake!!
LOL....me too. As long as its chocolate cake!

Hasbro needs to get Devastator to the States quick and stop wasting time in Nuremberg so we can get a decent look at this thing. Everyone knows Europeans don't really buy the toys, but instead opt to just read the crappy literature.

No you don't win. No one wins. The image(s) were not sent to Seibertron.com exclusively. the images were posted originally at 4chan.org. My offer is null and void now.
He did bring the picture here first before anybody from the news crew found it. You could reward him with a deluxe class figure for his efforts. Just saying...

I think he was more knocking on things like the works of William Shakespeare and such, rather than British TF fiction.ZeroWolf wrote:Oh and FYI the "crappy literature" is a much better take on the characters then the source material which is just one big toy commercial![]()

That Bot wrote:Ravage XK wrote:That Bot wrote:Eat your heart out, TFC and/or Maketoys!
It's still competing with their products among people that want a Devastator, and I think being 50-75% cheaper and colossal in height is going to win out over some reduced articulation with a good chunk of people. Especially people that haven't already bought one of the previous two.
