Indeed. Still not sure about the foot on the Mixmaster leg, and (based on the older photos) I am dubious about how the head looks from angels other then straight on... And I still think he might be a bit too large... But those are mostly personal picky issues. Those aside, this is a great looking Devastator for those who didn't jump on the third party bandwagon or for those who don't mind owning more then one.

Of course, still need to see his individual members... That could change everything if they suck. (Which hopefully they won't!)

I have been tempering my enthusiasm. The official photo has now done me in. Hopefully this will be easily available, like being able to order it on Hasbro toy shop.
Check out my collection!

No awkward lopsidedness and the treads properly adjusted to the body.

I must admit, I find the giant boat a lot more interesting than Devastator.

I am not sure if that giant boat transforms.

I cannot read it exactly, but next to the big green 6 and Constructicons there are four lines of text. We usually see English, French, Spanish. With the Insecticons, we had Portuguese, too.

My guess is, yes, it does have French, and yes, it can be sold in Québec. ;)

It has been a personal crusade of mine and Kanrabat's. He even set up a thread on a french TF fan site where people can post the letters they send to toysrus to ask for french on the boxes.

But that will burn a hole in Hasbro's wee pockets.

Seriously, I recall the old G1 boxes I used to buy had some french fonts.

This big bruiser is so awesome.........hopefully hollowed out parts are kept at a minimum.

Not sure if it has been established or not. But, do the individuals that make up Devastator have robot modes of their own?

if you look at Mixmaster, his drum is going toward the front toward the cab and not away like it did in G1. Sorry guys there is no drum flipping and Mixmaster is not G1 accurate. I personally dont care because it still looks awesome.

I honestly don't see why the new-style cement mixer altmode for Mixmaster is such a big turn-off for people. Isn't this the same kind of upgrade that Classics-esque lines are known for? I don't see how it's any different from Classics Astrotrain turning into a Shinkansen instead of a locomotive. Or Classics Bumblebee turning into a sports car instead of a VW Bug. Or Universe Ironhide and Ratchet turning into SUVs instead of Vanettes. Or Reveal the Shield Perceptor turning into a treaded truck instead of a microscope. Or Generations Blurr turning into an Earth car instead of a Cybertronian hover car. Or Generations Straxus turning into a tank instead of a flying cannon. Or Generations Sergeant Kup turning into an old Earth truck instead of a Cybertronian truck. If anything, I'd say some of those (especially Perceptor) were more radical changes than Mixmaster now having his drum facing forward instead of back. At least the Devastator leg mode still resembles Devastator's iconic leg look. Besides, who is honestly going to be displaying Mixmaster in altmode?
