Funnily enough, the Fall of Cybertron video was almost set 65 million years ago, in an attempt to justify the altmodes of that game's Dinobots. Matt Tieger claimed in a couple of interviews for the game that it was set 65 million years ago. Thankfully, the Fall of Cybertron prequel comics and Prime Beast Hunters comics each provided an in-universe source that put the game's timeframe as being "Thousands of years ago" rather than 65 million, with the FOC comics having that Shockwave look into Earth's past for inspiration when he created the Dinobots' altmodes, and thus effectively overriding Tieger's out-of-universe claim.william-james88 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Isn't it always an impossibly bug number like that? Its usually been 4 million years. While still high, it gets more and more incredulous that the war has not ended yet. Especially in this case where the leader was presumably absent for 65 million years.

Everyone in this show has their Earth kibble/vehicle modes seen on Cybertron in the flashbacks. Grimlock's just continuing the trend, barring his in-universe new altmode. I guess the animators couldn't make separate Cybertronian-bodied character models for everybody.william-james88 wrote:I like that route, its the same used in the G1 cartoon and beast wars. what also makes no sense is that Grimlock had all that dino kibble before he landed on earth 65 m years ago. Even my daughter was confused.
She looks female to me in both of these new episodes.william-james88 wrote:Also the show keeps changing Acid Storm's gender from show to show, its annoying as ****.

It really switches from one episode to the next. Would be nice if they got their **** together
Also, we know there are coneheads and we have seen them in flashbacks, so I dont know why Thrust is not a conehead in the present.

But, that Megatron was neither half-dead from an accident nor hooked up to life support. That was his control harness that allowed him to control all of Cybertron in full totalitarian rule, seeing and hearing everything on the planet's surface Big Brother style.Ig89ninja wrote:I think he wants Megatron to be half dead from an accident or something, and for him to be hooked up to some creepy life support system like this

I’ve head cannon it to be a bit of both, since he fell without any protection though the fury of a time vortex, which in turn damaged/aged his organic half and mentally damaged him as well, but that’s just my head cannon
Whereas in the actual show itself, his beast mode looked wrecked because of all of his experimentations to get rid of it and its organic aspects.Ig89ninja wrote:I’ve head cannon it to be a bit of both, since he fell without any protection though the fury of a time vortex, which in turn damaged/aged his organic half and mentally damaged him as well, but that’s just my head cannon
