ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Oh, that's hardly fair Kanrabat. TR Arcee is made from the most slender TR mold (one that even basically has high heels because of the foot design), was retooled to have more slender upper arms, and was allowed to have Arcee's actual face and be pink. And hey, it makes Headmaster Arcee (supported by canon before the Legends comic) a reality.

Hasbro. Guys. It's okay to integrate car parts into Arcee's robot mold. She can have car shins or car part arms. Even Hot Rod has car parts on his shins most of the time.

Oh. OOOH! It's a starship.
That's a very bad publicity photo. We're seeing the ship from behind with a view of the thrusters in the back.
Dunno. That's the first pic we've seen of it, AFAIK. They haven't shown us what the front end looks like.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:*looks at photo*william-james88 wrote:However, while Shockwave was a tank, here Iaconus is ... something else? So the knees are a dual cockpit?

Nah, the catalog photos from the '80s look good and they had it at least as recently as 2009. They extra had it in 2005 - remember how dressed-up the Cybertron publicity pics were?-Kanrabat- wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Dear Hasbro: You do realize that publicity photos are supposed to make your products look good, yes?
That memo was lost in the mail since at least 35 years!

It's especially annoying when, unlike T30 Arcee, this Arcee has big square legs and big square forearms ideal for integration. Hasbro simply took the easy way out and made one of the purest shellformers we've seen since Age of Extinction.

Sabrblade wrote:You know, with the news of another wave of Deluxes, I wonder who the next build-a-figure could be. I would imagine it would be someone in the show who doesn't have a toy yet, who couldn't be made from simply redecoing/retooling an existing mold, and who isn't too big to scale with the rest of the normal-sized bots (as in, not Croaton).
Alphastrike would be a cool option, and would give us another fembot. Though, while not gigantic, she still might be too big.
Astrotrain would probably be too big, too.
Or, hey, maybe it's the Quintesson Scientist! He'd be doable as a BAF.

It would make sense to continue the trend.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You know, with the news of another wave of Deluxes, I wonder who the next build-a-figure could be. Are we certain there is a BAF component this time around?
