@Zerohour these extras are the things that plastic limits denied us, so the fact we're getting them at all is good. Certainly easier then trying to get the company to revise business practices and allowances

Are you talking about them not including the additional accessories with the figures to begin with? That's just the same cheaping out on CHUG accessory counts for the sake of uniform profit margins that they've been doing since Classics began in 2006. This is the first time they've offered any official option to supplement that, and these accessories were almost certainly created after the molds were cut, in response to fan demand.

And for ****'s sake, it's not them deliberately trying to bilk us. Get over it already. The limited accessories has been a thing for as long as CHUG has existed, because Hasbro has always been about uniform profit margins on figures. It's the same reason mold hollows happen. Most fans are aware of this, have managed to get this through their heads that that's just how it works. And in the past couple years, we've been saying "You're only going to give each figure so many accessories because of plastic limits? Fine, we get it. So how about selling packs of weapons then?"

That's what this pack is in response to. And $10 for that many weapons is much more bang for buck than you get buying 3P.

CHUG relies mainly on people's fondness for a cartoon, comic, and toys from 35 years ago, so it's always had harsher plastic limits for new molds than the lines fueled by current media.

I always joke about hasbro/takara employees making a quick buck on the side with their third party upgrade companies. Hopefully hasbro/tak will start to include things with figures and the weapon packs can then be just blast effects/additional cool stuff rather than a figures missing bits.
Not sure how well weapon packs would sell if they did it*that way. The weapon pack with centurion is a mixture of cool stuff and missing bits which I more than appreciate.

It would likely be cheaper for those in other European countries just to order from ID toys/kapow and same for UK with hasbro using costly FedEx and customs charges. Even if leaving EU means custom charges later on.

Some exclusives are blink and miss or not even a chance to blink like the sea cons but with the hasbro pulse stuff/selects the chance of getting them has exponentially increased over trying to get sdcc, botcon and fun pub exclusives.

For roller to have been included with Prime, something else would have had to been reduced or left out completely. Not to mention the logistics of arranging things on the sprues so they're the right colours, and if you want them painted? Well there's the paint app budget to think of. This is the reality of corporation's and toy design and engineering. So many different considerations to take into account.

Nice. The accessories that should have come with Earthrise Prime ... all you have to do is buy an inconsequential repaint for $13 more.

Also, it's about time they realized no one is buying these reissues until they hit clearance anyway, so why not price them accordingly. At $20, not one set of the cassette reissues sold at my local Walmart. When they got knocked down to $10, they were gone in a flash. Same with the Prime and the Soundwave. The $50 price tag was way too much, but once they hit about $25 on clearance, people snatched them up like crazy.
So yeah, $30 for Blaster is about right.
