If the "spoiler box" is a Siege Galaxy Convoy but in Nemesis Prime deco, I'd be all over that sh!t. I skipped the initial release because I already have the Cybertron Original, but a NEMESIS version? Now THAT'S something I would like. He would go very well with my PoP Nemesis Rodimus (or whatever he's called).

Well, we already know Optimus isn't exclusive to this line, because the non-exclusive version of him already came outEmerje wrote:Gauntlet101010 wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Big departure or not, Bumblebee, Elita, and Soundwave were officially identified as part of the Netflix line. Everything in this reveal was an exclusive of some sort.Gauntlet101010 wrote:BB and Soundwave being remolds of previous figures is a very big departure for Netflix toys. Even ones in this wave. So I tend to think they'll be in the mainline.
It's not like they revealed Cyclonus, who we also know is coming. That's where we got our first look at Soundwave.
Which would explain Thrust and Cyclonus' absence.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean that the remolded Soundwave and BB are exclusive to the Netflix line.
For instance ER Prime is in the Netflix line with additional weapons and blue legs. So, maybe that's the same deal with Soundwave. He comes with cassettes. That's what's exclusive about him. Maybe the yellow eyes too.
As for BB, I don't know. Maybe something about the paintjob? It just seems odd that he'd be on the box, and clearly in mind when they made Cliffjumper ... but be limited to the Netflix
This is my feeling as well, I posted as much at the top of the page, though it seems like most people didn't notice it. Nothing I've seen so far convinces me that Bumblebee and Soundwave (or maybe even Elita 1 and Optimus) are exclusive to this line.

Bumblebee, maybe. But Optimus, I doubt. I sure as hell hope we don't see the ER cab sold as a Voyager in Kingdom.Emerje wrote:I feel like if that were the case they would have been driving home the fact during the presentation, I'd like to think they aren't so out of touch to think we'd just know. Just to repeat what I said previously, I think we'll see Voyager Optimus and Bumblebee in Kingdom.

Thinking about it, what if the Beast stuff in Kingdom has pushed some of this lot into the Netflix line? Especially with the number of Beast Warriors who would to need to be Voyagers.

1 to add to what you are saying, bumblebee and the other two are not sporting a battle damage deco customary of Netflix figures, which would further indicate that tgis is their main release.
Having gone back and watched the stream, since it happened before I was awake, the designer also did basically call out Soundwave and Bumblebee as being their "Earthrise forms" (or a similar phrase, I don't remember exactly) while pointing out their lack of battle damage, that seems like pretty damning evidence too.william-james88 wrote:2 thrust will be an exclusive of some sort, he isn't part of the main voyager assortment.
Since when? I thought he was the Wave 4 Voyager.
This guy has his own product code and his own shelf tag just for him (below upper right corner), he is not part of any wave or assortment. This is an exclusive.
Seeker Thrust 380374

Also, I too heard something along the lines of earhtrise when he mentioned Bumblebee, hence my initial mistake as I was trying to get the news out early on. And he spoke about how they made sure Soundwave had to have a clean deco here. Those two, along with elita, are really odd man out here.

Both BB and Optimus in their G1 forms are on the poster, with optimus being at the forefront. Rereleasing those Netflix toys in a new package could make some sense, just to have more stuff on the shelves. And making a new G1 Optimus and BB would make less sense when all the novelty is done with the Beasts instead.
You know what, I'll call it: voyager Earthrise Prime and deluxe Netflix BB will be rereleased in the Kingdom line.

At this point we should be screaming at them "MANUALLY MARK HIM DOWN WITH STICKERS ALREADY!"
They'll have to do it with stickers, since they probably can't mark him down in the comp without marking down all WFC Leaders. I'm certain that's the case at Target, that all regular Generations Leaders get marked in the computer with the same price, because during Power of the Primes I found A STILL-UNSOLD COMBINER WARS SKYWARP (which I had previously seen on Titans Return shopping trips) lingering on the shelves and price-scanned it, and it rang up with the PotP Leader price.

Rereleasing Earthrise Optimus' cab at Voyager again also wouldn't make much sense, since they already released the original form of the mold at Voyager in SIEGE, the mostly-new version in its entirety at Leader in Earthrise, and now sans trailer in the Netflix line. Yes, Optimus Prime may be prominent on the poster, but what stops that from just being representative of his Earthrise toy? I mean, we had Sideswipe and Hound showing up on Earthrise poster material didn't we?william-james88 wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Bumblebee, maybe. But Optimus, I doubt. I'm glad we're on the same page here, I've mentioned this twice now. And Prime is more than just ER Leader Prime without his trailer. To get some of his parts into the right colors (like the hands and inner legs) and not include the trailer he's gang molded with they would have had to remove those parts from the trailer molds and include them with the figure molds. That's a lot of work, it would have been much easier to use Siege Prime instead since he's actually in that body in the show.

the walmart listing does have some interesting tidbits. I am at work so I couldnt watch the livestream, so IDK if these were brought up there, but heres what walmart says about the contents:
Includes: 2 figures, compound, 9 accessories, and instructions.
Figure scale: 7 inches
Ages 8 and up
Warning: Choking Hazard - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
CONTAINS WHEAT.
COMPOUND NET WT. 5 OZ (142g)
Not intended to be eaten.
Non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

It had the same wording on the previous Spoiler box and I believe it is referring to the putty or whatever that the Energon cubes were encased in. Not really, no. You could maaaybe sit them on top of the dividers with their legs in the seating areas, but that's the best you could hope for. Being a Leader-class figure with the cab retooled from the SIEGE figure means that both ER Optimus and his trailer are undersize, and between that and the size of weapons pack Roller's body relative to the 5mm hole... weapons pack Roller is dwarfed by the original Roller.Rysquad wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hasbro Pulse exclusive Centurion Drone Weapon Pack

Or it could be option C and we're all completely wrong about the parts being part of the trailer mold. Problem with these CG previews is you can't tell what's painted and what's plastic. I just got my Alternate Universe/Dead Prime and the gray leg parts from the standard Leader figure are entirely painted on this figure. So apparently that was an option for the regular Leader figure and Hasbro just chose not to, so that might be the case with the Netflix figure.

Wouldn't it make sense to release bee and prime in Kingdom as an exclusive two pack? Would be a bit deflating if they took a slot that could have gone to a better character for retail release. Or watch them release a special megaset of all the autobot characters on the ark

I think it's more likely that he uses the same mould as regular ER Prime and they're just recycling the trailer parts that come out of the mould. That's what they usually do for pretooled alternate parts.

I know in the context this request is very different from a repaint,
but I want a Galvatron.
A non-gimmick, screen (not toy) accurate, properly updated Galvatron.
I completely get the idea that so much G1 stuff has been re-hashed to where we should be getting more and more obscure characters, and characters from later shows. Totally makes sense.
What I don't get is how a major character who is a re-birth of one of the very most popular TF characters ever has yet to be given a proper update. That doesn't make sense.
I have the CHUG version, and it's pretty decent. But come one, this guy doesn't deserve to be stuck in the deluxe class...
& sorry, is the head master version good?
If you like a character's helmet to be incomplete and look like a mask, then yes.
That figure was so close to being a major win...

I'm going to be a little bitter if we don't get him in the SS '86 Movie line.
Especially knowing that another Cyclonus is coming down the pike.
And please, Hastak... I don't want a battle-damaged WfC Siege version!!
At this point, if the robot mode is on point, I don't even really care what the alt mode is!

Titans Return Galvatron is rather screen accurate, aside from the robot mode cannon mounting. He's also the right size and fully articulated. As for the helmet.. if the outer surfaces of Nucleon were painted purple, that would make it look more seamless (after all, on Galvatron's animation design the crown and cheekguards are like a mask grafted onto a more basic helmet).
Universe Galvy was based on an IDW plan for Earth-mode Galvatron that ultimately got scrapped. As for why he's a Deluxe... Well, he was supposed to be a Voyager but back then Hasbro was a lot less generous about allocating larger slots for new molds to the neo-G1 line. It wasn't until Thrilling 30 that they opened the floodgates on that. Prior to that they'd allowed 5 new Voyager molds (Classics Megs, Optimus, and Jetfire, Universe Inferno, and FoC Grimlock) and 3 new Ultra molds (Universe Onslaught, Silverbolt, and Powerglide), and that was it.
In any case, I'm pretty damn sure it's not gonna be Galvy in that box. It's gonna be an already-known Leader mold in a new deco. Hopefully a new new deco this time, not "the same basic deco but with more dirt".
Universe Galvy was based on an IDW plan for Earth-mode Galvatron that ultimately got scrapped. As for why he's a Deluxe... Since when? I thought he was the Wave 4 Voyager.
I wrote above the proof to him being an exclusive single release so I now wonder, where did you see that it would be part of wave 4?

Totally agree... My hopes are gone and back to reality. But that's fine, it'll be one more to pass on.

Comparison Images Between The Various Retooled Toys Revealed Friday
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
The Vector Sigma Facebook page has made some handy comparisons between the toys that were revealed on Fan First Friday. It's funny to see that in some cases, the 3D renders were themselves simply redeco'd or retooled. The Soundwave and casette comparison are most interesting. For Soundwave, we see that very little has changed in terms of tooling and yet a totally different alt mode was achieved. For the casettes, we see that each of them are indeed retooled (look at Ravage's head) and you can see how different the deco is.
Optimus is the same mold and you can see the slight deco changes. We also see that Elita-1's vehicle mode was indeed retooled, ever so slightly. Let us know what you think of these and which ones you hope to pick up.

Even though I already own Siege Soundwave, I'd be down for that ER set.
