MLP: the cancer of the internet
Now this is just rudeness and bullying, whether you're kidding or not. Why should either of you give a care about what other people like? You're the ones making the big deal about it, not them. This site has plenty of Bronies on it who are also hardcore TF fans. No one's forcing either of you to join in with them, so leave them be. Not everyone has to like the same thing, or even hate the same thing. People have different interests between one another because everyone is different. You don't like MLP, fine. But the biased persecution of those here who do needs to preferably stop. I am not a mod, so I have no power to do anything about it. But I can let myself be heard as a disgruntled individual who is sick of seeing blind hatred spread between one another. Fact is, there are Seibertronians who are also Bronies, whether they are vocal or not. Don't like it? Well... oh well.Optimus-Pie1 wrote:Manterax Prime wrote:I regarded this place as a safe haven away from ponies. I hoped I would never see or hear of them here. Now? It's getting infected as well.

I wouldn't worry too much, there is more than enough of us here to force any Brony the hell off our lands!

Trust me, while there may be Bronies here, there aren't enough to overthrow the theme of this site being Transformers. ED started as an MLPFIM site; I can't see this site changing into one without Ryan either doing it himself or turning the reins of the site over to another who makes the change instead of him.Optimus-Pie1 wrote:With all little respect due, I know for me as well as possibly many people here, Don't want to see this forum become "Equestria Daily"

Well, I wouldn't know of any sites it has "taken over", but what I have seen has been mostly new websites being created for it or existing ones containing Pony Talk to their own sections or individual discussions.Manterax Prime wrote:Look, the bronies can be bronies. I don't care. I'm just sick and tired of seeing MLP taking over the net almost everywhere I go.

As for things like Usernames, Avatars, Signatures, and such, that's considered personal content and can be whatever the individual user wants (within reason, of course). The main websites they appear on ,however, remain constant with their original theme as decided by the webmaster.
As far as this site goes, most of the Bronies on here were Transformers fans well before the Brony movement began, so they know how and when to talk Transformers and such.

If you ever get the chance check out the Hub's facebook page, They can't post a non MLP status without having at least for or five Bronies spam it with Ponies. I mean they even spammed a memorial to the Aurora theater shooting victims with Ponies! WTH!!!

More like WTF!!! Do they even realize that people DIED that day?
Well, the sad truth is that every fandom has its share of extremists (just look at any topic here pertaining to the live action Micheal Bay TF movies, which attract both the extreme lovers and extreme haters of those films), but one must still remember that one collective type of fan does not represent the majority whole, and I've yet to run into one of those extreme Bronies in the years I've been on this site.Optimus-Pie1 wrote:If you ever get the chance check out the Hub's facebook page, They can't post a non MLP status without having at least for or five Bronies spam it with Ponies. I mean, look at this topic, for instance. -Kanrabat- and doomboy536 admitted to being Bronies, but they chose to vote for the Transformers with justifiable criticisms towards the MLP toys. Even Bronies can recognize issues with the things they like.
And mirageandjazz1197 is the only one to have openly said they voted for MLP. One person. That's all. And his post wasn't like one of those crazy ones you mentioned seeing on the Hub's Facebook and such, just a simple "cuz I'm a Brony." Nothing wrong with that, yet he got chewed out for it not long after. That just wasn't fair.
