I hear you, I think its a load of bull too, especially if the rumour is that they are released individually (was that the rumour?). If Metroplex was released as a masterpiece edition I could buy it, but it wasnt. The only predecessor for a figure rereleased as an MP (as Chuck indicates) are the leader movie figures like this one:
"That was the droid I was looking for" I was beginning to think Alzheimer's set in early on me! I knew there was a reg release that was released MP. Still doesn't match up for Devy though.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

The Legends are up as well
They are only as a case of 8 or a set of 2No way I'm buying that PoS Huffer just for Blackjack. If BBTS doesn't sell them separately my money will be going elsewhere.
Neither am I, it's just cheaper for me to import. I'll just wait for them to appear in store. Thanks anyway, and hope you find Huffer somewhere.Solus Prime wrote:Arctorro wrote:william-james88 wrote:Good news everyone. How interesting, I want Huffer, but I dont need Blackjack, I would like to help you buying that case of 2, but im not from the US.

They are like a cake baked inside an apple pie, dipped in chocolate, topped with a mountain of whipped cream. Mmmm, SINFUL. Be careful.RiddlerJ wrote:NO! MUST RESIST! But they look so sweet and tasty.

I feel like my classics shelf is starting to get a sense of accurate scale, only iGEAR rager is shorter than the rest of the Legends class minibots we've been getting. I always felt like Bumblebee should be the shortest, so CW Huffer gets him a bit more in scale. That's one victory.
I like to buy at retail to support the brand and the hobby, so I try to hold out for a hasbro release if a 3rd party is dropping something. Again, CW Huffer wins.
iGear Rager though... I've added a silver outline autobot reprolabel and touched up his flat blue plastic with a little sky blue to make him more screen accurate. He's the perfect screen accurate G1 huffer.
I don't know what to do!
at least if I get CW Huffer, selling my show accurate Rager would probably generate enough money that huffer paid for himself twice over. :S
What would you guys do?
RiddlerJ wrote:I am fussy about consistency. The fact that the two prior uses of the mold have partners and this one doesn't bugs the hell out of me for some reason. I can rationalize Bombshell and Powerglide not having them because they're new molds but this is the same reason I held off on Legends Windchanger and Thundercracker. Little things like that scratch at my brain.

You dont even need to go to that extent to see that there is a problem. I simply look at the value and realize that in one year, I am paying the same amount for less toy.

FYI all US users. That sale ends Jan 17th. If I remember correctly. Hit the streets and start hunting!megatronus wrote:william-james88 wrote:RiddlerJ wrote:I am fussy about consistency. Target has the CW deluxes on sale for 11.99, but the Legends figures are still 9.95. Does not compute, especially when there is 4x or more plastic in the deluxe figures.
