Once I get enough time to myself (e.g., the weekend) I think I'll take a few group shots of my own of the 1984 catalogue/cast with the SDCC pop up Ark from last year's G1 Dinobots set. Of course, I'd make a few changes in the figures used (for instance, Cloud Optimus and United Voyager Megatron).
No, this was found on Ben yee's facebook page.

primalxconvoy wrote:Hasbro UK, like many UK-based subsideraries of "foreign" (toy) companies, is little more than a warehouse. They are not really "Hasbro" per sec. In Hasbro UK's case, they are a small warehouse company in Wales, staffed by middle-aged ladies, who know nothing about the products that they sell. I remember once asking them if they had "Tigerhawk" for sale and I had to wait while they checked the internet (after I told them that I had already checked there). It turned out that their official records had him down as "Flying White Tiger". I kid you not.
I am so glad I left the UK for Japan, as Britain has less products than developing nations when it comes to toys. It's awful. (The girls are a bit better in Japan, too)

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Does that work for Silverbolt/Superion as well? Or is the retooling between Silverbolt and Cyclonus too much?Cob-iner King wrote:

Thanks Hasbro, way to show you care.
I'm seriously considering abandoning this hobby and selling my collection over this. I'm f*cking sick of being at the mercy of scalpers and paying in excess of £25 for a figure that retails for £15 (when it should only cost £10).

For your convenience I've been looking at the Combiner Wars listings, and they have Wave 2 available, £16.99 a pop. Much better deal, no?

Wow, the artist of that comic could have at least TRIED to make that combined Prime look like he was an actual combiner. The cover art is great, but the comic, not so much.
Aping for the Nick Roche approach but the results aren't too nice.
All of those comments appear to ring true for me also.
At first I thought there was a hint of Geoff Senior, then Nick Roche but realised neither comparison should be used as this art doesn't come close to their great work.
Perhaps this new artist will settle in after a few more issues. I need to see more I think?

No longer the case, from my experience.
To which figures are you referring? Maybe some of us here could help you out...?Delta Magnus wrote:So basically I'm stuck with 4/5ths of a combiner and a single solitary member of another with absolutely no hope of getting the remaining limb (and the rest of the members of the other team) unless I cough up stupid amounts of money to buy from overseas scalpers on eBay.

No word on RiD Wave skips yet. If the toys are moving, the chances of a Wave skip get lower, so...

Any of you notice the RID toys moving better than the Combiner Wars toys?

Not here... not even the cheap Tiny Titans. I have seen kids take interest in Transformers however, but the prices do work against them... and the fact we still have some AoE stock to eliminate.
