Landcross would have been an awesome combiner to get out of the current molds.

With all these Autobots repaints, I think we're in dire need of some more Decepticon combiners though

I can see ruination happening some how as for more decepticon combiners well it depends, on the one hand bad guys never sell that we'll, look across most toy lines and bad guys are always outnumbered, just one if those things we deal with. Of course if we're lucky and in between the autobot stuff we could get nicely surprised by a new pirannacon but I reckon we'll just have to wait till new York toy fair to see that.

I think some of the problem with doing the rest of the decepticon combiners is there mould choices + fan expectation (sometimes we do make things worse for ourselves)

While I don't want/need all the variants of ruination, it would be cool to get the rid version. It would also be pretty cool to get cybertronian seacons out of the technobots (if they are actually in the pipeline) hasbro has said that we aren't getting beast combiners, but vehicular versions of the beast combiners aren't out of the question. Plus they would look awesome in their color scheme.

And RiD Chop Shop isn't a combiner in the traditional sense, as he simply splits into 5 pieces without alternate modes. We are getting a regular G1-styled Chop Chop, a retool of Skrapnel.
