that on the far left....that isn't Platinum Edition Optimus Primal is it?
My TRU DEFINITELY never got the Year of the Goat Soundwave. In fact, I just sort of assumed that they didn't come to retail. And I reallllllllllllly wanted one. Not only am I a 'goat' but my fave is Soundwave.

That's kinda amazing. Because most people find it ugly and overpriced. Still, it's very strange that your TrU never got any. Because at most places, there's a lot and the thing shelfwarm hard.
If you really want it, just wait a bit more. I'm pretty sure it may pop up at a TJ-Max like store or somewhere online at a very reasonable price. You will NOT miss out, unless you do on purpose.
I don't know where you are located, but Chimumgmung ahve one for a reasonable price, if you don't count shipping. Oh... Sold out.
Oh, if you are American, it's still available at TrU.com for 100$US + free shipping:

jamesbenjamin wrote:You know, saying "G2 Superion was found at North American retail" is just going to confuse people and send people living in the US that don't know better out to waste gas and bug their local TRU employees. We know that Canadian and US TRUs have different warehouses and sometimes even don't stock the same stuff, so you should really put "Canadian retail" instead of "North American" retail in the news story. I've also seen stuff turn up in Mexico and you don't call those news stories "North American retail."
Mexico is Central America....
I'm looking forward to this release, had ummed and ahhed for a while, but decided to get this and Menasor for my NeoG2 collection.

The torso (thigh) looks like Silverbolt/Scattershot to me, but the hand and foot have me stumped. Are those Victorian's, or a variation of them?Insurgent wrote:We knew this is what Nosecone would look like, thanks to Ram Horn. My question is, who's the torso? Hey, thanks for that, all is well indeed, just been busy working Christmas retail and packing up my man(bot) cave to take downstairs and preparing the nursery for the impending arrival of my first kid on a week or so.
Have been taking the time to read here, not always posting.

Looking at a picture of Vicky's feet, it seems looks to be either a retool without the heels or a new mold.
The hands, however, do not look like anything I have seen.

I'm leaning more towards Liokaiser though, mostly because I want to believe it's really happening.
Agreed on the figure. it's most likely just the Brawl figure with an uncolored drill piece instead of the cannon pipe. The Autobot logo will most likely replace the Decepticon one in the actual release. I do have to wonder what is in store for Afterburner since Hasbro has not used Takara's Groove mold and doing so is likely to ruffle the feathers of the fandom.

Word on the street is they're using Takara's groove for afterburner and they'll also be using it in the eventual g2 Defensor set. But I personally believe that they'll release the standard groove mold as an online exclusive ala slingshot and wildrider.

Why would it ruffle feathers, I thought people would be happy to finally get that mold and it would give people a (more) proper computron.

I never bought rook due to my heardheadedness that it would happen one day, and i still hope it does.
Shuttershock wrote:This lends credence to Computron being a boxed set, given the dedicated foot seen here.
From experience, the computer listing is pretty much a confirmation for me, so I was already certain Computron was happening then and I am now wondering when we will get him and what it looks like, rather than still wondering if it will happen.

But rook is awesome man! Even if you don't use him for Defensor I still think he's worth picking up.
My Defensor is peg legging it right now to give Galvatronus a full team so I'm with you though in the hope of a groove release.
