Ok so I am coming up with some cool ideas for custom Galvatronus limbs. What about I customize some deluxe Protectobots, and call them the "Endangercons"? They'd be like the Protectobots' nemesiseseseses...

But the Combaticons are the Protectobots' nominal nemeses. Galvatronus's nemesis is Victorion (apparently... This has yet to happen in-fiction).

Still, Endangercons is a cool name.

But it makes those cons sound endangered....?

They live on the edge. Plus, you like dinosaurs don't you?

Do they form Glacial Lord?

No but that'd be EPIC. Is that a Fansproject toy?

While watching that rather jaded video review, I thought that the reviewer was talking a load of tosh about the undercarriage.

Sidenote, because that reviewer made a point about how different Trailbreaker's fist/foot/weapon attachment is: are there any images showing how it attaches in robot mode? They seem to have gone to the unusual trouble of modifying it, so I assume it fits into his backpack somehow (not that any of the reviews so far have a clue...)?

He is his shuttle, his full dinobird mode, and a combined mode torso. Same 3 forms as all the other combiner torsos

All CW voyagers are triple changers. They go from alt mode, to robot mode to torso mode. Skylynx has his shuttle plus undercarriage mode, then his dinobird mode and then a torso which shows the lynx component.

I dont see the big issue here or the confusion. He's clearly not the G1 toy but has homages to it here and there.

Thank you, but did I watch the video, and the reviewer noted that Hound and Wheeljack were substantially heavier than the other two. That's part of the reason why I'd like to see him scrambled differently. Less weight on the arms might help prevent the shoulders from sliding out of place when he's standing in place, and it should drop his center of gravity to reduce torque on his hips.

The shoulders will probably still pop out of place when you deliberately move the arms, of course - just like Menasor and Defensor - so that'll need some clear nail polish or some Construct-Bot parts worked in. Or, I suppose, a person could just grip him by the shoulder instead of by the waist when moving his arm.

The point being made, both by the reviewer and myself, is if we have to hold the shoulders to move the arms the toy can't be played with, and therefore is a failure. And if the hips are so loose the toy falls over with slightest hint of a touch the toy cannot even be posed on the shelf and is a failure.

Further, and this is just me now, if I have to augment the toy in some way to make it work (not including correctly re-configuring miss-assembled parts), said toy is a not going to be a part of my collection because I don't collect turds, not the ones that come out of me, and not the ones that come out of Hasbro.

That's what you need to point people to when they are asking if Hasbro completely got rid of the Lynx mode...not just comment on the fact that they have a negative opinion that should could have been formulated 6 months prior.

No, his combined mode uses the lynx parts. It is a torso mode. This skylynx does not have an official lynx mode or bird mode but the lynx part of Sky Lynx can be found in the torso mode. That is all.

They wont. That would mean making a whole new voyager mold and they have yet to do that.
