That'll be for the official NA release and by changes there will just be less paint and only one gun... actually let's hope that's not the case.shajaki wrote:Anyone else think it's odd that they didn't take the opportunity to make a handful of changes? instead they're carbon copies...

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Anything is possible; but so far no hints, rumors or announcements. You'd think Seekers would be a shoe in too. I'd definitely pick up a Starscream. Especially that sexy ghost version... meow!Deadput wrote:I wonder if we are getting anyone else besides Groove and Blast Off do you guys think we will ever get the Starscream and Conehead (curse Thrust) molds from the Takara Grand Galvatron set?

I'm still praying someone does do this and posts it. I want to see it for reals

I thought the plan was to buy 4 alpha bravos

Revisionist history makes my head hurt. Other than some minor confusion upon their release where Amazon may or may not have accidentally listed them too early, those figures were insanely easy to come by for a couple months.mblase75 wrote:I just hope that this figure (these figures?) are a LITTLE easier to get ahold of than Quickslinger and Brake-Neck were. Wal-Mart couldn't seem to make up their mind as to whether they were in stock or not. I ended up ordering from multiple sites just to be sure I could get one copy of each figure.

That said, and maybe I'm a bit alone on this idea slash concept; but I've been warming towards the idea of Rook and Alpha Bravo being generic drones - this especially helps for me with Sky Reign, where for displays I'd rather not have multiple Hounds, Smokescreens, Trailbreakers and Wheeljacks, but the idea of having Sky Reign instead merge with some generic drones for his combined form helps. Plus it kiiiiiind of harkens back to his original merged form being him and a flat drone thing? Maybe? Sort of? Eh, I just like the idea. Especially when it gives a glorious white-with-accents colour scheme befitting of Sky Lynx.

You could just have sky lynx combine with them anyway, don't see why you would want them to be drones, they are both awesome figures and can be given any personality you want. For example, my alpha bravo is a sniper who stepped in to fill slingshots shoes when he was killed

Vangelus is pretty great, yes.
Personally I kind of like the idea of Rook as a wrecker. Mostly because of his strong body frame and his ridiculous hulk hands of doom. Still... there's something about AB and Rook that seems sort of... droney in vehicle mode; I don't know how to explain it. I'm not saying that they can't have personality or whatever and there's a lot you can attach to them, but personally I kind of like them has Sky Lynx's little drone force. It's a nice compromise to me between his G1 and Combiner self.
