I don't think I'd mind so much if it actually was able to lock in somewhere; it especially messes up the arm mode and all. I'm at least still able to get some cool poses out of Brawl but this is some of the worst design I've seen in-hand so far.
The waist locks in, it just looks bad. I've tried filling in the gap with the combiner peg partially clicked down but then it won't lock in for me.

It locks in, but it doesn't lock in
well. Maybe it's just mine but it just immediately comes apart as soon as you lift him up. If it did lock in well I'd be able to deal with it, especially the aforementioned combiner peg. He's just really annoying to try and do anything with when the damn waist keeps popping out.

Hmm, yeah sounds like it's not quite up to par. I can shake mine(moderately, nothing too frantic) and it stays in place. I've had my share of QC issues with other figures of this line. It's always a bummer.

Unfortunately this is what TF looks like when you're this far between movies. With shelf allotment as a sign of popularity, Ninja Turtles are the hot property right now, and of course all the summer movies are going to be competing for toy sales as well, leaving TF to ride on the popularity of their name value and the RID show.

It's sad, at my local TRU the wrestling section is bigger than the Transformers section. What's even more sad is that the Star Wars section is right in front of the Transformers.

Mean while what he's not saying is that he's Australian and his TRU actually stocks imported Japanese Masterpieces.
He's also not saying anything about the prices so be thankful for that.

Oh yeah, and that. They only stock Japanese Masterpieces.
But I don't buy Masterpieces.
What about the prices, Burn?

I really hated it for how it messed up the arm mode too... until I realized i was doig it wrong. The arm mode actually locks in because tat waist is supposed to lock like it does in vehicle mode and not like in robot mode. Here si how it is supposed to look like, it becomes super solid and a nice beefy arm too:

I still hate that joint in robot mode even though it does lock in slightly. Its super awkward and will unlock as I pose him.

No but see, I've been doing that and it doesn't even try to stay locked in. It looks cool but it doesn't look cool when it comes apart when I literally touch it.

And I am still full of Cyclonuses. These pics were all shot this morning:

Curious to see what Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Skylynx looked like before it was made into plastic? Hasbro designer and concept artist Emiliano Santalucia has updated his
Facebook album with the linework for the toy, in beastie, torso and vehicle modes. Check out the mirrored images below, and compare them to the toy gallery
here.

WOW, Hasbro needs to do me a solid and drop those watermarks so I can break out the old Crayolas and have some weekend coloring projects.
Very nice!

He does bring the fun doesn't he?
Groove will probably be my last CW limbot. I am excited to get my paws on him though, it also helps I like motobots.

Hey all,
Wanting some opinions here;
I'd like to have a Legends Class Shockwave for my UW Bruticus.
I like the look of the TT version, but damn, isn't that around $25?
HTS has him right now for $10.
Anyone think the TT version is worth that price tag??
-edit-
Awesome just saw he's NOT in stock at HTS.
But either way, do I go Hasbro and save the $$?

He's a great figure, but that Takara deco is sweet and he comes with a lil buddy. Tough call, but you could get two Hasbro legend figures for that price.

Go Hasbro. The differences aren't that major, and for the size if the figure, he isn't worth the cost of Takara.

Yeah the only incentive for TT's price, is the exclusivity of the Cancer minifigure. Even then the Shockwave/cancer set is worth it if you like Super-God Masterforce

I guess the best way to answer this is to ask yourself how much do you want Cancer? If not at all, go for Hasbro Shockwave. But if you do want Cancer, go for Takara Shockwave.
