[quote="Kurona"]Do Offroad's legs split apart extremely easily for anyone else; especially in arm mode? Mine come apart from each other practically with a gust of wind. It's a problem I've had since the moment I got the figure and I'm wondering if it's a widespread or at least somewhat common problem.
I dunno about Offroad, but my Trailbreaker is fine.
For all intensive purposes, I am not longer active on Seibertron. If you want to find me, I'm most easily reached on Twitter, @sigma_magnus

My 2 Ironhide's do it sometimes, but Offroad and First Aid have always been legs and Trailbreaker holds together just fine.
My Dustup also has that issue, and hers is the worst of the lot. the Ironhides are comparatively good and require some jiggling to break him, but Dustup is more touchy

Mine seems fine in the 2 legs sticking together. Where mine is loose is splitting the legs open when going from truck to robot/arm, bur they tab in nicely in both modes, so it is just going between where mine is loose.

Yup, First Aid and Ironhide too, everytime I give them a twist. I also have that same issue with a few other CW bots as arms. Considering I mostly leave mine in a fixed pose except for picture time it's a nuisance at best.
Ibr also found that Nosecone doesn't like to snap completely tight in leg or alt mode where Brawl is nice and tight.

Thing that confused me though is that I've had a First Aid for ages (and I love him so much), and he hasn't had problems with his legs tabbing together. At least, not to the ridiculous extent Offroad has.
It's a shame because I really love Offroad's character and there aren't exactly any other options for him out there... ah well. He still looks cool~

My first aid and trailbreaker hold together well enough, however off-road, Ironhide, zombie breakdown and ruckus split apart pretty easily in arm mode.

When in arm mode? It feels incredibly loose. For Offroad, that is. With First Aid it's pretty tight.

My Offeoad has the same problem. But other than that it is his only problem. Don't believe me? Ask his axe.
While mildly annoying it's no where near as bad as Dead End.
My Firstaid is solid though. I think because there's more mass to the back end of thealt mode and it has more tabs. (?) been a minute since I've played with him.

Well I no longer have Offroad but I remember the connection feeling adequate. When as an arm, the legs just unpeg when moved around, especially when twisting the forearm. I could be mistaken about First Aid, but I've seen more than a few limb bots be fiddly as arms but not too many issues as [strike]bricks[/strike] legs. But over all I feel that combiners are > the sum of their parts but still = fun
No real complaint from me

Lightsteed needs to be well lined up but otherwise no - everything I have is fine - bar any mild nail polishing of ball or mushroom joints I might have had to do.
But I don't have anywhere near the whole line yet - But my Ratchet,Trailbreaker and Ironhide seem fine. If anything they are to tight and a little scary to transform.

Not so much Offroad, but I have a host of others that split apart easily in arm mode mostly the jeep/tank mold (hound, swindle etc...) . And of course UW Blastoff is the worst, which thankfully was fixed with UW Strafe.

Odd, I've had no problems with Rook and Swindle myself. This is a very specific yet sporadic problem...

Just pulled my Swindle off of Bruticus, and put him in Arm mode, and he holds together fine. Legs tab in securely. His hips however have gotten looser, even though he's been stuck in leg mode since I got him.

Re: Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Discussion Thread
Assuming someone wanted there to be G2 version of bonus team members and that those team members were not the same colour as the character they replace/stand in for. what colour should they be and why?
For example take Off Road if he had a G2 version might dark Blue be the proper shade ? (Inspired by Breakdown rather than Brakedown) - that might also sit well with the other team member colours and wouldn't step on a potential Hoist's toes like it might if it was green. Though I suppose Orange would be OK too.
Though I was looking at G2 Defensor and I've come to the conclusion he's ugly.
So I got to wondering what he'd look like "Better" I think the problems we'd have are the orange Police bike looks not very police like and also clashes with Afterburner.
So lets assume one was to side step the Motorcycle issue by including Rook or by renaming Groove Gasket.
If I had the freedom to Juggle I'd suggest blue for the Motorcycle. yellow for the ambulance *with checkerboard pattern) and Orange for the Helicopter and Leave the Police car and fire truck mostly alone.
I would have suggested Coast Guard deco but we have already had that the other deco I like which would look really cool for the entire set is to make the whole of Defensor Black and white and put some UK style black/yellow/blue or red square pattern or chevrons on them. and perhaps find some other air ambulance or police deco for Blades.
That would be like Hasbro did with Ruination years ago.

Mirage's Combiner Peg and HFG fingers are EXTREMELY stiff and difficult to get out. Is this the same for anyone else? I'm able to get the Combiner peg out but no such luck with the fingers even after hours. It renders the HFG useless as a hand.
I dunno if this is a common problem for Mirage and/or if it's common among the multiple versions of Drag Strip, but boy is it frustrating.

Unfortunately I have the bad habit of biting my nails, so any piece like the hand part of the HFG I have to use a small metal piece such as a paperclip to fold out. Kind of sad in my old age I have to use a tool to transform my toys more often than not

Not uncommon these days - it's a good idea to keep a tool handy as then you can lever something in a way that supports the joint better.

A hooked, dental pick tool works great for all those hard to open transformation points.
