I recognize Hudson Bay Company from past readings of NA history; had no idea it was abbreviated and marketed that way though.
Thanks for the heads up folks.

Something with a flat edge might work better and prevent scratches something as simple as the end of a teaspoon works fine for me if the part is so tight you can't move it with a finger nail then I guess a pen knife might be appropriate then.
I have a blunt penknife I've used forever to help with putting labels on things. but the two tight to move thing is more common on 3rd party toys in my experience.
Emgo's suggestion of placing a figures weapon in their hand to get the fist out more easily is a good one - but some toys like wolfwire for example the issue is clearance - his hands are simply to large to clear the hatches properly and get stuck.

Absolutely; always err on cautions side.
Especially with the cost of toys nowadays
Blunt, thin knife is great as well.
All excellent options.

Just playing around with Pyra Magna because I love Pyra Magna, but does her left thigh ratchet sound different than her right thigh ratchet to anyone else? The one on her left (from her perspective) sounds a lot stronger on my copy.

I have the same thing with my Wave 4 Motormaster, but it doesn't result into functional problems. I'll just chalk it to a tolerance thing.

Just got Leader Class Skywarp! In my opinion though, he has way more guns than any bot should ever have, so I started handing them out to random bots and cons in my collection.

Always love getting more guns
Personally I use the two smaller ones for Deluxe Jets (especially Blast Off who as a Jet that's part of the specifically combat-orientated team was severely lacking in twin under-wing mounted blasters), and I find the missile launcher absolutely perfect for Combiners - I used mine for Bruticus.
Still don't know what to use the ones that go on the Seekers' legs for, though.

Oh? I didn't know the seekers were retooled from Skyfire! I always thought it was the other way around.
Leader Class Megatron also came with two extra guns, which I used the smaller one for my WFC Bumblebee. (I also used the Decepticon Stickers for him! As a plot for my first stopmotion in a while.)

Pretty much what I did with SW and TC. Too many guns is a better problem to have than the alternative!

Re: Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Discussion Thread
just a heads up for any Irish fans on the site.
smyths are flogging combiner wars computron (the hasbro version with scrounge) for €50 and the voyager combiner wars fig are going for €10.
thats a hell of a discount from the usual price point of €84 for computron (which is already cheap) and €31 for an onslaught etc. though in fairness they were selling at €16.
the computrons are the ONLY set ive ever seen in retail here. our stores dont seem to carry it on principle and they werent moving that well before the cut. now theyre flying out so if any of you lads/lasses were thinking about picking up the guy nows the time.
theres deals on the titans return stuff too but thats another thread.

I bought Computron fairly recently so much so that I've not even got around to taking Scattershot or the combiner parts out of the box yet.
I feel no regret for buying him early - as that was still a very good price.
Speaking of Combiner Wars "combiners" though...
I notice that the Over-scale ones are still progressing.
Overscale First Aid & Streetwise now have packaging samples and are due very soon - and they are now showing off Overscale Breakdown and Off Road as well.

It is kind of starting to make sense to me now why Hasbro are doing unified gimmicks. They were having fun enough just rolling Swindle and Brawl around, then I brought out the rest of the Combaticons and combined them and their minds just blew.
So basically, when you don't have fictional presence to sell your toys, make sure they can combine into a huge **** robot

Re: Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Discussion Thread
I think that was part of the idea about all the subgroups in the 1980's and he gimmick lines in the 2000's the "Novelty" and play options provided.
I like both Combiner Wars and Titans Return for that reason. to me it's like having the AEC era again when you combine RID and Prime Wars.
And the Movie line is even giving me some Dragons too so - Everything is ticking all my boxes lately.

Tomorrow I could potentially get CW Liokaiser for around $66 USD + tax (which is $90 CDN).
But as I have said, I am not sure about this guy. I hate that brawl mold and I dont think he looks great. But the headsculpts are cool and new and that would mean more limbs and another combiner to wreak havok with. Plus its a fun Hasbro exclusive and beats any fun pub exclusive. So I dont know. You guys think I should jump on it (if he's still available)?

if yours is anything like my experience was, absolutely. All the joints were nice and tight, and the extra limbs feel fresh and fun, not forced or anything, deathsaurus is super fun and guyhawk is my favorite cw limb by himself. the combined mode is great, the tightened thighs on teal-saurus help it out, and if you have any 3p feet/hands, that will only enhance an already great combiner. The micron is cool, I like it, and the swords that come with greenlynx are awesome accessories in and of themselves. And the platinum paint jobs are just so luscious, it's amazing that they came from hasbro in the first pace, it blows my mind
Definitely go for it

I don't own him, but I got to handle one before I shipped it off to Alberta. He is really cool. The unified deco looks really good combined. Like Hellscream said, the QC was good, and the micron buddy is cool. You can also combine the swords with the micron to make a cool fan mode sword.
If you think you have room for one more Combiner in your life, especially a Decepticon, I don't see why not. Honestly for that price, I would bite.
