Aye his vehicle mode looks really stunning(a heavy retool of one of the Stunticons I believe?).

Yes, but a wonderfully done retool.

Vehicle mode is a wonderful retool of Breakdown/Sunstreaker. Just wish the black windshield in robot mode was colored
Mmmmmmm.... Wheeljack. I just got my hands on CW Mirage and Prowl and I'm surprisingly impressed with them.william-james88 wrote:

I'm looking forward to Bruticus himself. Is he the first combiner (besides the primes) that has the whole original team and no replacement member?

Well since they were released, and they were replaced in fiction only, Superion and Menasor can technically qualify, and since groove is still chillin' (albeit in a different spot) with defensor, he qualifies as well, so all of them so far (can) have all of their components

Yeah, and not only that but at least Superion and Menasor have all their members in the more or less correct alt modes. Bruticus may have all the names right, but that actually makes it worse since it lessens the chance of getting a proper version of the entire team as a Hasbro release.

Unfortunate for G1 accuracy, but still I like the new Blastoff. A recon jet makes more sense anyway to me

Yeah, I don't need a dumb shuttle on my combat themed gestalt

Yeah, combat. Shuttle really makes no sense, but we've had that discussion so many times. I like the jet mode (and as a recon jet, it's kinda closer to a shuttle than a fighter or bomber jet)

That's not to say that I wouldn't have liked a new mold, or remolded wings for him

I'm fine about Blastoff as a jet, cuz it makes more sense. Sucks for you Gwhiners, but I'm personally fine about it.

We both have agreed that we like him as a recon jet, just had hoped for a little remolding to the wings. Read his sig: he is not a Geewunner. We just wanted a teensy bit more effort
