It includes everyone who buys TFs who is aged 10 or more. Collectors or not.

Can you wait for a year from now?

I don't want to, but I will.
I waited roughly 10 years for Devastator, Menasor and Bruticus.

But don't forget: UW Bruticus determines the rest of that line. If Bruts doesn't do amazing, the line will be done and Comp will not come :MAXIMAL:

Soundwave, I hear you!

And D-Max, I think thats a load of bull. These toys are made 2 years in advance, if Takara already has a Computron in the works, we will see it.

It was brought up in the Unite Warriors thread. Dunno where it came from, but I guess it was brought up after some lackluster sales of another UW figure. Either way, This one is very cool :MAXIMAL:

I love legends figures, they're so much fun.

I have always loved that class size from the Beast Wars and Machine Wars "Basics" to the Cybertron Scout Class and now the Combiner Wars Legends. My only complaint with the current ones are that I wish they had accessories. Bombshell needs his gun, Cosmos could use a yellow or green gun of some sort, and so on. I know some of the Generations ones had Mini-Cons or Targetmasters or Micromasters (whatever you want to call them), but that's not what I'm looking for. Just a regular ol' gun would be fantastic.

I'm glad that most of them don't have guns. I only appreciate them when they are integrated well in alternate mode, which none of them have - Thundercracker/Skywarp's come close though.

What about Warpath? His weapon is kind of crucial to the alt mode.

I should rephrase - detachable weapons. The more integrated, the better! I am cool with Brawl's gun staying on the turret all the time. It looks better, too!

So many scale problems in one photo. :P

Hot Rod could have at least had his exhaust gun thingies on his arms as a gun like in previous versions but that toy is a such a lazy half-assed attempt at Roddy I'm not surprised they didn't bother.

But yeah I prefer it when they have guns or something. They don't look right without a half decent weapon in their hands in robot mode. While it may not always be possible to hide weapons in alt mode (especially at that size) I like having a port on the vehicle to store the gun so it's not loose and it's a battle mode sort of thing. Obviously not a really obvious port that ruins the overall look (like sticking a hole in the middle of the car hood).
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

As you all know, I have warmed up to Computron and I realized why. Unlike EVERY SINGLE RETAIL HASBRO RELEASE, this is the first combiner to come out where all his components are correct. The only "cheape straight up redeco" is Lightspeed. But that's a futiristic car, using a futuristic car mold so it is far more appropiate as a mold use for a G1 homage to lightspeed than Slingshot was for Blastoff.

So yeah, think about it guys. This set gives us all the G1 characters, with new tooling on almost all of them to reference their G1 selves and you even get an extra targetmaster toy.

What I mean to say is that if you line up all the Hasbro Combienr Wars combiners using only the readily available characters at retail, Computron would be the only one which is most like his G1 self.

That's pretty cool. And thats why I dont think Takara's would be much different aside from some paint. And not even more paint, just paint in different places.

Definitely much better than it was shaping up.. would like a good look at the individual modes. I drew my line after bruticus. But this is tempting thanks to the use of the groove mould which I don't have and would be the only one...

the hands and feet are definitely something that improves the toy, though I still like the original sets for their cleverness, hope that hasbro release a few sets for existing combiners

p.s. what bugs me bout this guy the most is the lack of serious retooling or new mould for scatter shot / and computron's head.
My personal prime collection so far in descending order of how great i reckon the toy is -
FE Prime, Silas Breakdown (Powerizer), Dreadwing (Powerizer), FE Bulkhead, Voyager StarScream (Powerizer), Ratchet, Soundwave, Arcee, Voyager Megatron (Powerizer), Wheeljack, Thundertron (Powerizer), Ultra Magnus (Powerizer), Knockout, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee,Airachnid

What I want to know is why the news plug for G2 Menasor has G2 Superion's text and bio - with 'Superion' deleted and replaced with 'Menasor'.

Pretty interesting to read how they describe Menasor as 'ready to fight the Decepticons with all-out force'...

And who knew Silverbolt, Air Raid, Quicksling, et. al, could turn into Menasor?

Its not the news plug, its the actual listing details on HTS. Clearly they werent ready to publish it yet and have since taken down the listing.

I dislike the calves of Dead End/Streetwise more than the hips of Breakdown/Wheeljack.

And yes, Lightspeed looks like it should've used Wheeljack's mold!

Also, when will people cry out about Shockwave having the same Breakdown/Wheeljack hip joint?

Yeah :-x

I mean, it's not like there's an obvious screw in the back of breakdowns pelvis that would tighten his thighs to a comfortable tolerance... oh... wait

Unlike Breakdown's, Shockwave's waist actually stays in place.

I disagree, the arms are just rectangles at the side, they remind me of Energon Hotshot's.

And I greatly dislike how me playing and posing one leg automatically moves the other one, it's very annoying and has nothing to do with tightening that screw or not. Plus, I am not a fan of his asymetric feet, it makes him look like he has a tumour growing from his foot.

As opposed to every other cw deluxe, most of whom also have very rectangular arms >:oP

So he doesn't have the braodest chest, not sure how different proportions suddenly make him horrid, that'd be like saying rook is trash 'cuz his chest is super broad

And so he has some plain arms, just like skydive, airraid, firefly, quickslinger, offroad, and so many others, so unless I'm misinterpreting your point, I'm not seeing this as a valid argument.

And I greatly dislike how me playing and posing one leg automatically moves the other one, it's very annoying and has nothing to do with tightening that screw or not. Plus, I am not a fan of his asymetric feet, it makes him look like he has a tumour growing from his foot.

I have noticed his feet do give him a lot of trouble posing, but his thighs don't move when I pose him, not sure what your figures problem is. I don't mind that they're asymmetrical, dead-end and rook and everyone else have this same problem, his are just more overt than the rest |:|

Like, A/B has two, one near his knees and one one his feet, you don't hear anyone complaining about anyone else's hfg ports' (well, until recently, but now for much different reasons) asymmetry.

I dont care if the argument is valid or not, at the end of the day its all about how we feel when we think about a figure. And looking at this figure and the odd proportions, including his very simple arms, I am just not fond of him.
