Really? You dont want this mold? Its really good, easily one of the best tank transformers. So much so I had to update my list.

Nope, those shoulders are some of the worst points of articulation that I've ever seen, absolutely loathsome, it was an instant deal breaker - especially when rid megatronus managed the exact same thing and looked epic whilst doing it
But they are only weird if you pose them in a weird way. I find the design very innovative for having such a complete change of form in few steps. Its quite elegant. And the tank mode is superb. Plus, he is the Hasbro retail toy with the most paint apps of last year, I thought you would appreciate that. Or at least his fabulous headsculpt which is easily the best megatron headsculpt we have ever gotten. Hes also more solid than Mgnus and doesnt feel hollow anywhere.
Granted I got mine for 30$ so I saw it through the rose colour glasses of a 30$ toy. Which was well worth the money.

As cool as that is, they did that with Cybertron Defense Scattorshot and subsequent redecoes. And they accomplished it more impressively.

Yeah he does have that and it blows. I would rather things be done right, even if it means you dont get anything. Which is why RID Megatronus works well enough and I have no complaints. He doesnt have an arm canon, but I preffer that than him having a crappy one. Commander Prime Megatron had a good arm cannon, but thats to counter for the crappy alt mode.
Carnivius_Prime wrote:I think that Leader Megatron is the only really good G1 Megatron toy that's ever been made (something I waited for several decades for) and probably the best any-Megatron too personally. He's imposing with a great tough looking bot mode (with not too much annoying kibble which is very important for me, I hate large bits of kibble especially wings) and an excellent tank form. A true highlight of the otherwise rather bleh 2015 Transformers figures (thankfully they didn't make him a combiner).

So the actual G1 toy and the Takara versions of the Classics Megatron toy are not good toys? Just making sure I understand what you meant in your first line, because thats both high praise but also a huge criticism of anything we've gotten in the past. I even found the RTS Megatron to do a really good job in his size class.
Also, keep this comment in your favourites, Carnivius, because you'll want to get back to it when I drop the Seibertron Staff picked list for the top 5 best Megatrons. He's not in there. But that isn't a huge shocker since Hellscream is part of the staff and had some strong feelings about this toy

RoTF/HFTD Leader Optimus Prime. Hands down. I owned that mold as well as Starscream, and Starscream is much simpler to transform, even though he looked pretty good. But in terms of execution? In my opinion RoTF/HFTD Leader Optimus Prime is the best Transformer toy ever produced. Ever. DoTM Sentinel Prime and RoTF Jetfire come close.william-james88 wrote:I have yet to see any toy beat HTFD Starscream in terms of execution.

As for CW "Armada" Megatron I think it was totally unnecessary. Considering the alt mode, Hasbro had a perfect opportunity to give us G2 Tank Megatron instead. All they had to do was change a few minor things. It would have even made more sense, as G2 came right after G1. The CW version Armada Megatron is unnecessary and lame.

I mean Old Testament, real wrath-of-God type stuff!
Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes!
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
