That's probably something that has not been said much within this franchise since the end of the Unicron trilogy. Kind of a shame, really, glad these are reigniting the ol' ethos of playing with your toys.

Man, I really want a set of seekers out of skydive and Airraid, 2 of each mold. Acid Storm, Hotlink, Sandstorm (cancelled seeker) and Sunstorm. The seekers I actually care about, plus they would look awesome together; acid green, beige camo, orange, and purple, put them with a skywarp-ish recolor of cyclonus - maybe remold the combiner head to look like armada skywarp 8)

No no no; cw cyclonus repainted in skywarps sexy colors, with armada skywarps head as the combiner head (has a mouthplate with slits and fangs, and a horn; very big difference, but the club is covering that :-( )

You'd be surprised to see the answer is "no":

It's a solid mouth plate on the toys for both Skywarp and Ramjet, the latter having a real mouth is a fiction-only thing.

Also I wonder how they would pull off something like titan wars, I mean we know we can't have an entire line of titan class.

They might be going Scramble City with Headmasters.

A line of Headmasters that encourages headswapping. Legends class head packs with heads for bodies that don't get released (which could mean, for example, Pyro, Inferno, and Hot Spot sharing a body with headswap determining who it is).

Legends are alternate heads maybe with a vehicle that turns into an accessory pack.

Deluxes might all be Headmasters with a Vehicle and a head mode for the Fort Max and Trypticon bases.

Voyagers might all be triple changers with a base mode that links up with Trypticon and Fortress Maximus.

And the Legends being alternate heads helps push Legends sales and allows them to do characters they'd ordinarily never do as well as represent characters that are under-represented.

So, for instance, say they release a Voyager Jetfire, right? Jetfire's head detaches and becomes the all-new Headmaster Comettor or something.

And then they release Doctor Arkeville with a jet. Doctor Arkeville turns into a Starscream head and his jet becomes armor. Fuse with the Jetfire body to form Starscream.

And then they release Fracas with a tank. Fracas becomes the head for Scourge. Combine him and his tank with Jetfire's body to form Scourge.

That's just how I would do it. I think I may be onto something there though.

Dude! That idea is awesome! I would definitely buy a line like that. Hopefully titan wars ends up like this.

It would be nice if they would let him combine with the original guys. For example ironhide and ratchet for legs and jazz and prowl for arms that would be awesome.

The confirmed variant is with Onslaught although a few of us fans think Brawl will also have a variant. And with onslought, either the chest for the combiner mode will be green or grey, that is the difference.

Oh and guys, while I am here I am wondeirng if any of you know why CW Silverbolt has articulation at his nosecone. What does that serve to do?

The concord he is based on has an articulated nosecone, so you angle it downwards slightly to match the real-life counterpart. Move it so the top of the nosecone forms a line with the cockpit when viewed from the side. As for the concord, I think it was british, might have to ask someone else for the details Image

Thanks, man, it feels nice to be of some use to somebody, and that I can finally put my pointless trivia to good use.

They may have been before my time, maybe, but I still flipped when I accidentally bent the nosecone down and found his hidden 'real-life mode'. It was all just very fulfilling to me, much like the articulated ladder on hotspot.

I seriously hope we do. These are neat little updates to G1 characters, with much less "fiddly" transformations, that I can use as the next step up from Rescue Bots for my nephew. He's recently been getting into the original cartoon, and has started asking for characters like "Sunscream" and "the Big Blue Guy" (Soundwave). Some of these '84 bots turned combiners look amazing (Wheeljack, Mirage, Prowl, etc.), and are much simpler for a 5-year old than the previous classics versions and offer far more play value.

Random thought--

After looking over my CW figures (which I still haven't opened)
I really noticed how awesome the paints apps are... Very very few issues that I can see.
& I've looked really closely.
This is one of the reasons I loved buying from stores; getting to examine & compare paint apps.

Anyway, imo just another way Hasbro has taken it up a notch w/ this line.

How do you guys think the value of these CW figures will change in the next 4-5 years? Will they go up, once the line is ended? Or is it so popular that everyone will have them, and they won't be worth anything for about 15 years or so, until a lot of people lose or break their figures?
