All I can say, is that, for as much mileage hasbro is suddenly getting out of Brawl, you'd have thought they would fiddle with a copy of the figure first to have realized it was mis-designed. I can only hope complaints have reached them by now, or before these releases, so they can fix them, lest they too be ruined by Brawls shite torso

From everything I've seen brawls torso isn't as bad as everyone's making it out to be. But at any rate it looks like they already messed around with the torso

Can someone clearly outline the Deathsaurus speculation for me? Why do people think he might be the LeoKaiser torso?

Because that torso turns into a bird kaiju, just as Deathsaurus is. And its what the rumours have said so far.

Sky Lynx is a "Dinobird", of sorts, akin to a winged Apatosaurus with a bird-like head and a... tailfin... thing(?) on its tail.

It isnt in a wave. This seems to be a boxset. Computron is confirmed as a boxset. There is no CW wave after Sky Reign.

But why should they release Scattorshot solo and then within a boxset? I know they want to make money and milk thw cow until it stops giving some but that would be too cheap.

Oh THAT's what makes them too cheap?! Not the fact that in the two combiners revealed today, making it 10 toys, there is only 1 mold that is new?!

And anyways, Hasbro already hinted they would be releasing scattershot twice. Once as betatron and another as computron. And we know computron is a boxset due to the computer listing.

So if you think its too cheap, then sorry, but I guess it is.

To add to it, 3 of the 10 are of the Air Raid mold, while another 3 of the 10are of the Brawl mold

Pretty sure there's a fix for Brawl so it shouldn't be too big of a deal. I haven't gotten one in hand yet though so i can't confirm.

Actually look again at the half box art image, the head is different. It actually looks like Computron!

I'd buy that if he didn't still have a faceplate....Computron never had one, in the cartoon, or his toy.

Yeah, that's the pseudo-fix where you pivot his pelvis forward more, only, one the current Brawl mold, it reveals the serial number and other numbers; Optibotimus did something like that in his brawl video.

It's NICE but it's not the Liokaiser we really want. This presents both a substandard Liokaiser and substandard Deathsaurus. Not a win for the Victory homages. Computron is better, by some margin.

Admittedly Hellbat and Gaihawk probably ought to be out of Skydive so the wings can fold upwards like they do on the G1 version.....

Guys, I know it's hard to believe, but my Brawl's waste stays together in the designed position.
I was listening to the latest Twincast last night, and ScottyP even confirmed that his does as well. He stated that he had to shake the **** out of it for it to come loose. I haven't bothered shaking mine because, well, why ruin a good thing? There is enough friction on the long tab and the slot it presses into to stick.

This is what I think the situation is. Those parts that serve that function are very thin and narrow. I could see how they could easily be miss molded. I think the problem molds are factory flukes. Which makes this suckier because that means buying Brawl is a crap shoot.

Now mind you, I'm not saying this design was a good one, or that the engineering coulda/shoulda been done differently. I'm just saying mine works.
