We should all live in the now. If next month, IDW prints a story that Optimus Prime is a degenerate bartender with a severe gambling problem, we should all embrace that and forget 30 years of brand history. C'mon people, get with the program!

suppy, demand. that's business. anyone thinking this can't happen is off their rocker. it's so obvious that hasbro would bring out slingshot now that takara is already making him. logic escapes a lot of people.

There is also Takara's Galaxy Force Soundblaster/ Logos Prime, which Hasbro released as a general release. Henkei Red Alert, was released as Universe Red Alert. Takara's deluxe Movie Concept Camaro BB with clear windows was also released as a Target (I think) exclusive).

It's just fairly recently that Takara's been releasing main line stuff that didn't make it to the West, and with that I mean their Generations line.

Actually, it sometimes happens that Hasbro releases stuff that Takara doesn't, I seem to remember Takara releasing only half of the Animated line for instance.

That trend goes waaaaay back, as Takara never released Gnaw as a mainstream release

It's true. And pics exist, but they cannot be shared, due to copyright from Hasbro.

For a little history in both of these's people's experiences, Icespark was the one who uncovered the listings for Hasbro's Masterpiece Prowl, Hasbro's MP Bluestreak, the "Megatronus" figure, Hasbro's MP Sunstorm, and the AOE Optimus Prime Evolution 2-Pack.

jru42287 was the one who first uncovered the listing for the rumored Devastator, the $99.99 price of Hasbro's Masterpiece Optimus Prime (MP-10 mold), the first image of Hasbro's MP Sunstorm, the listing for the AOE Platinum Edition Breakout Battle set, the listing for the AOE Platinum Edition Optimus Prime w/ Trailer and Sideswipe set, and the listing for the AOE Platinum Edition Leader 2-pack.

Actually, you're only right with Red Alert. GF Soundblaster stayed in Japan, you must be thinking of Universe 2008 Blaster. :) Movie Camaro Concept Bumblebee has always had clear windows in both regions in general retail. Finally, TakaraTomy released all of the Animated Deluxes to Leaders and then some with the addition of Wingblade Optimus Prime and Hydrodrive Bumblebee which were canceled for the US.

Takara releases some characters that Hasbro doesn't, and vice versa.
Still waiting on word of Takara's Skids, Jhiaxus or Legends Insecticons.

But the fact that we're getting decent combiners of any sort is amazing. This time last year I thought Id have to go 3p for sure, now, no need.

Quick question: does anyone have CW Powerglide yet? Just wondering how well he fits into Superion's fists. I don't expect the death grip that MP Ultra Magnus has on his gun, but hopefully it isn't floppy

The Legends Insecticons will be released in the Transformers Adventures line, TakaraTomy's answer to RID 2015. Right now, it's more like a waste-bin line, containing redecos from Animated, Beast Hunters, and Generations seemingly "unsuitable" for Transformers Legends like Scoop (redecoed into Roadblock), Powerglide, Cosmos (as Adams) and the two Insecticons. It will also have AoE Junkheap, and will possibly be its only release pending US release confirmation.

Think Alpha Bravo was always meant to get reused for CW Defensor as Blades. So it's not a wasted new toy.

Some are guessing That CW Offroad was given to CW Menasor. So it can be recolored as Ironhide. Then become a part of The Autobots Masquerade recolor.

Think CW Offroad can be reused for a possible CW Bruticus for team member Swindle.

Offroad looks nothing like Swindle. I've seen plenty of digibashes and Swindle's colors on Offroad's body does not compute.

A few of the 5mm pegs/ports are a little loose (primarily the combiner hand ports), but my Powerglide fits nice and tight into the top of Superion's gun. Both him and the gun are a little loose when plugged into the hands. On the up side, the knuckle guns help to limit any movement by the gun.

Raiden would be nuts, I'd be all over that, unless it's one train mold used six times or something like that. I was going to say liokaiser also, but I think I'd rather just see that as an encore, if they would please resurrect that line; those molds are awesome
